When did you tell parents about your pregnancy??

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant, but I would quite like to tell my parents on Christmas that we are having a baby. But my husband wants to wait just in case. Which I do understand but if something bad happened we would tell them anyway. Out of Curiosity what would you do??

I wanted to wait until Christmas last year when I would be about 16 weeks. Unfortunately my mum accidentally opened a letter sent to her house regarding my appointment for the flu injection so my parents already expected it. That was around the end of November. I told her a few days later once the 12 week scan came back ok.

Work already knew though as I felt awful for the first trimester and couldn’t hide it.
