Did you get a BFP having only done the deed once?!

Due to erratic cycles and DH’s work shifts, we have only managed to DTD once this cycle, on the day of my LH peak (so one day before ovulation).

I’m looking for some success stories to keep me smiling, instead of fed up that we’ve missed our chance this month!

It doesn't actually make much difference how many times you DTD in your fertile window as long as you hit the window. More times just ensures it's more likely you'll get it at least once.

Yep, similar situation to you, work/staying with family meant we only had one chance to have sex whilst I was ovulating the month that we conceived.

We tried for 9 months every day each cycle - we were knackered. The cycle we conceived on we’d decided to stop actively trying and we did it once typical!

Yep it was the first time after ds3 was born we had a couple of glasses of wine and thought it would be ok... it wasn't ds3 and ds4 are 12 months apart 😆

Yep. Was pretty unusual for DH to finish inside me, but I guess my body knew something was up and I took charge. Now 39+2.

DC1 18 months of trying, dtd 4-5 times a month and timing to cycles.

DC2 was the first unprotected dtd once we'd agreed to try for DC2 I actually went for a wash after instead of lying down!

We didn't dtd again for weeks due to DC1 being demanding.. period didn't arrive.. DH's face when he saw the test was an absolute picture!!

Yes my DS was unplanned, one night of unprotected passion with DH whilst drunk on holiday!

Every time I've got a BFP I've only managed one DTD in the month / fertile window. So it's definitely possible!

Another here who took a year of perfectly timed sex to conceive DC1 (clear blue digital ovulation tests every month from month 3) but conceived DC2 one lunchtime when wfh - 10 minute quickie when I was on CD 24 and we weren’t trying!

Yes. Miscarried at 11 weeks. One period and then DTD once around ovulation the following cycle. The result is now ten years old

I had a mirena coil. Dtd once because DP was working away from home. We weren't trying hence the coil.

Yes - 3 times! DTD 1 - resulted in our DD, tried for DD2 - DTD once on first cycle - pregnant but early miscarriage. DTD once on second cycle - pregnant but early miscarriage. DTD 2 times to get our 2nd DD.

No, turns out I am infertile due to stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis.

Yes! And im not very fertile either, 12 year age gap between mine.
