BBC article urging pregnant people to get the COVID jab

The BBC are again urging pregnant women to get the COVID jab. Can anyone please point me to the research on which this news article is based?

I was concerned when I heard the headlines that 1 in 6 people needing the most intensive care were pregnant. But then I think they said that there were 118 people needing this care between June and September, of which 20 were pregnant? Did I miss-hear?

The message and the statistics don't seem to add up to me so I want to look at the original study and reach my own conclusions.

It’s not just the maternal deaths to take into account either - there’s also the miscarriages, still births and babies requiring NICU to add to the number of deaths and serious consequences caused by COVID. Get the jab. The percentage may seem small but is that gamble worth your or your baby’s life? In our Trust we’ve had to admit pregnant people to ICU. We’ve had people give birth who didn’t get to meet their baby for weeks whilst they were there. And the common theme we are seeing in all the people dying in red ICU is them saying “I wish I’d gotten the vaccine”.

@ilovemykids5

I had Pfizer on the 16th and I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I've been absolutely fine, slightly sore arm the day after but no illnesses and baby is doing just fine.
They only offer the Pfizer or moderna vaccine to pregnant ladies (the woman who administered mine was a midwife of 35 years who had returned to practice to help with demand) AstraZeneca isn't offered x

@OliviaL9530 I had my first Astrazeneca before realising I was pregnant and now they are saying I have to have the same vaccine for my second shot.
