On my last baby I used boots wipes but they have changed them and now are drier and smaller, looking for recommendations please

I prefer Pampers. I stock up when they are on sale.
Second best is Morrisons nutmeg.

Jeanjacketlady · 25/07/2021 16:33

Pampers for me too and stock up like the pp if there's a deal.

Chocolatebuttercream · 25/07/2021 16:35

I use reusable ones, they are amazing and work so much better, as well as being a million times better for the environment

8dpwoah · 25/07/2021 16:36

We usually use the Aldi ones but we buy whatever's on offer now DD is bigger- anything except Huggies, that is, I find them awful for ripping.

NatalieH2220 · 25/07/2021 16:37

For newborn I found water wipes best. Have since moved to either aldi sensitive or nutmeg sensitive.

HauteGirlSummer · 25/07/2021 16:37

I used Water wipes as my DS had super sensitive skin.

Tinkles78 · 25/07/2021 16:38

Pampers pure were great for newborn, and now I find tesco Fred and flo ones just as good as any! Agree Huggies are the worst!

PaniniHead · 25/07/2021 16:39

Tesco- not the fragranced ones

HalloHello · 25/07/2021 16:47

I really didn't rate water wipes when my DD was newborn, too wet and took too long for her skin to dry. I just used Aldi sensitive with her.

This time, I've stocked up on Pampers aqua pure for my newborn and then will switch to Aldi again after 6ish weeks!

bookish83 · 25/07/2021 16:48

Huggies extra pure or pampers pure

All the others rip or come out loads at once which is counter productive for getting cheaper ones!

GAW19 · 25/07/2021 16:53

I cannot stand pampers or huggies, they're thin and rip easily
We have always used Asda's non fragranced wipes

They've changed them now so they aren't so wet Smile

Cheeky reusables!!

stormelf · 25/07/2021 17:52

Definitely cheeky reusables, so much easier for very messy nappies. I did use water wipes for first couple of weeks though

AutumnVibes · 25/07/2021 18:19

Also cheeky wipes reusables here. Once you’ve used them all wet wipes seem really flimsy and grim. Kind of easier if you’re also doing cloth nappies as you’re then all set up for washing all the manky things together. But lots of people use them happily with disposable nappies.

emerald1981 · 25/07/2021 18:53

I used water wipes for newborn then moved on MamaBear sensitive from Amazon. Get a box delivered every so often. So handy.

20viona · 25/07/2021 18:55

Aldi mamia
Absolute bargain and nice and wet.

Sunflowerx · 25/07/2021 19:04

Definitely not Asda little angels as they smell like arse 😂

Lou98 · 25/07/2021 19:07

I didn't like the boots ones either, I also found them dry!

I found Aldi mamia ones the best, they're the good amount of wet and don't rip as easy as the likes of huggies. Good price too!

I do like wet wipes too but don't really find them any better than the Aldi ones for the price difference

cookiesandcreamm · 25/07/2021 19:08

Aldi or Morrison's nutmeg!

I found pampers and huggies crap! Not worth the money.

cookiesandcreamm · 25/07/2021 19:09

Also agree with this 😂
Starjammer · 25/07/2021 19:09

Cheeky Wipes are great. If you want disposable, I like the MamaBear ones from Amazon. They never tear and are well priced.

Omg, yes, why do they smell so bad???

Omg yes they do! Forgot we bought a box of them once, never again! I remember water wipes being a) grossly overpriced and b) soggy AF so good to hear they've dried them out a bit.

We use reusables for hands and face but just couldn't get into them for dirty bottoms I'm afraid.

Tibtab · 25/07/2021 19:12

I use cheeky wipes mostly and Sainsbury’s own brand when I’m out and about or it’s a particularly messy nappy change.
