Hello, please advise me.

I am 32 weeks pregnant and due to take my COVID vaccine on next week Friday morning. My sister who took the vaccine on Thursday afternoon said there were approx 30 people standing in-front of her outside before entering the building, and waited around 30-40 mins. I am going to the same vaccine center, is it possible for pregnant women to jump the queue?

If you’re supposed to be on bed rest then you should contact someone to see about how best to get jab as you shouldn’t wait in queue for long. You really don’t need to care about how everyone in the queue will perceive it. For some people unless you’re in a wheelchair with no limbs then they won’t see you as having a need to go ahead but who cares about ignorant people.

Most centres near me seem to be run very well where there’s no real queue. Hopefully that’s what you experience

I got mine a lot more pregnant than you- 37 weeks and didn't expect this tbh. I only queued for under 5 mins in the outside line and then another 5 inside. Had I been standing for longer than maybe 20-30 mins I would've expected to be offered a chair, or would have asked at that point.

Erm... probably not, no.

Why don't you call the centre and ask?

I’d either speak to a marshall on arrival, ring up 119 (?) for advice or bring along a camping chair. I’m pregnant and prone to fainting. I was vaccinated at a busy centre on Sat. There were volunteers everywhere you could speak with, and after 15 minutes (ish) of queuing outside there was one seating area after another.
