Anyone else? Inconclusive scan...?!

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could possibly have any advice about the above? I had two miscarriages before I had my little boy who's now 5 then a miscarriage last august... just found out I'm pregnant on the 12th April Brain was on over drive so booked an early scan (wish I didn't now) thought I was 6 +1 but turns out I'm possibly a week out ..... gestation sac present and yolk sac present furthest I've got since my pregnancy with my son ....!

The guy was happy with the scan and everything looked healthy but now I'm freaking out there's no embryo and nothing growing.... done another test today and it's positive 3+ but my heads doing overdrive .... has anyone had an inconclusive scan and all been ok in future scans?! ....... thank you !

@jade0881 well I thought I was 6 + 6 with my dates. She measured the gestational sac at 13mm and said that was equivalent to 6 weeks 2 days... she basically just said I can go back to them in two weeks or call EPU. So I called the EPU this morning and the midwife was so nice and told me to come next Monday for a scan. She also said 13mm isn't even 6 weeks!? So I'm confused why the private sonographer would say that. I googled it too and apparently 13mm is only 5 weeks 6 days.

I've to go to EPU tomorrow for bloods.

So your basically the same as me as I'm 5w6d too.. but I was completely baffled because my last period was on 27/3/21.. and according to my calculations I should be 6w2d..

I suppose I will find out again on the 11/5 as I asked for a second opinion myself. So fingers crossed 🤞🏼....

I haven't been asked to do any bloods yet. Is that normal? I mean considering I've had previous MC's I thought they would be more on things xx

Ahh yeah. I thought I was so right with dates too!

I'm only getting bloods because it's EPU and to make sure my hormones are rising because no yolk sac was detected.

Yeah hun my scan went fine. Everything is okay. It's just how I was feeling on that day... how are you? How are things x

@thorny87 they thought it might just be too early to see much on the scan but my hcg levels have stayed the same for 48 hours. I've to go tomorrow to confirm failed pregnancy! X
