But = bit
Wash day = each day! 😂

Sorry!

babynov · 04/03/2021 16:37

@treesall keeping my fingers crossed for you! This is my first time so have only taken one test (and had to google what FMU was!!) so I'm probably not good at reading them!

I think that's what is the hardest part, just waiting for time to pass. Feels like being in limbo.

babynov · 04/03/2021 16:38

@treesall sounds bad but if I'm going to get bad news I just want to get on with it and know

treesall · 04/03/2021 17:18

Thanks @babynov . Me too. I'd rather just know. Every day that passes I have a teeny bit more hope it's gonna work out so I'd rather just know if it's going wrong x

Lifechange1981 · 04/03/2021 17:49

Congratulations to you! I found out last week and was in shock for about 3 days sobbing. It is my first abd I am petrified. I think I am about 2 months gone... feeling very alone and overwhelmed right now... can’t stop sleeping. An entire week Has gone... I do have moments of happiness but right now it feels like I’m working on a film set... does not feel real 🌸❤️

Maya000 · 04/03/2021 18:10

Congratulations everyone! I got my bfp a few days ago. It has been reassuring to read these posts so thank you for sharing your experiences. I am expecting my 2nd after mmc last October at 12 weeks. I am scared but, I am hoping it will work out this time, taking each day as it comes. Wishing you all the best! X

JRH4622 · 04/03/2021 20:23

JRH4622 · 04/03/2021 20:30

babynov · 05/03/2021 07:34

Yay! Congrats @treesall ❤️

JRH4622 · 05/03/2021 08:02

Sorry I'm new to this abbreviation thing...what does that mean?

ALB1990 · 05/03/2021 08:02

@treesall ❤️ so happy for you! Xx

treesall · 05/03/2021 08:31

Thank you @ALB1990 and @babynov. I know it's no guarantee of anything (still mc after getting it before!) but it's further than I've got with the last 2 so it is a step in the right direction.

@JRH4622 I'm not sure if it was me you were asking what that meant, or someone else, but in case it was me, I meant that I got a '3+' on a clear blue weeks indicator test, showing it's been 3+ weeks since conception (5+ weeks pregnant) x

JRH4622 · 05/03/2021 09:24

@treesall sorry I'm still getting used to this site! Yes, I was asking! Soo pleased for you!! You are the same as me...I'm 5+2!

treesall · 05/03/2021 09:48

Ahh no worries @JRH4622, it's definitely confusing getting used to the lingo on here!

By my LMP (last menstruated period)I am 5+3 today with an EDD (estimated due date) of 02/11 but based on ovulation I think I'm 5+2 or 5+1.

I have a scan at the EPU when I'm exactly 6w but I'm worried that it'll be a bit too early and they won't see anything. 2 or 3 days can make such a difference at this stage. That will be so horrible if so as it'll mean I'm not sure whether then baby has stopped growing or whether it's just too early!

JRH4622 · 05/03/2021 09:58

@treesall I have had 3 MCs and I am completely resisting doing a scan before 8 weeks for two reasons, first I am determined to keep my rose tinted glasses on not worry at all this time (I was a nervous wreck the last two times and it wasn't good for me or my pregnancies) and second that I know if it doesn't show anything because it is too early then I will start to stress, oh and I have a third....last time I had a scan at 6wks that showed everything ok and then the next scan showed no heartbeat!
For me it is best to hold my sh*t and just wait and staying unnaturally positive!
This whole journey is so personal and you cant make the wrong decision, I'm excited for your scan....keep thinking "All will be well!" xx

treesall · 05/03/2021 10:06

Thanks @JRH4622. I'm sorry you've had 3 mc too. I think you are absolutely doing the right thing to hold off having a scan. I don't think I would be going for one until about 7/8 weeks if the EPU midwife hadn't just called and told me she had booked it for me!

My first one was a mmc picked up just before 8w but my gut instinct was strong that the pregnancy had failed, so although I was gutted, I wasn't surprised. My 2nd and 3rd mc were very, very early, (c.5 weeks) so I haven't seen a hb for any of them. I will know if my scan does show a hb that it's no guarantee, but it will be the furthest we have got since my first and only successful pregnancy. If nothing shows on the scan then I will be 80% confident that this one is going to be a mc too. It will be a horrible week or two of limbo not knowing, but at least I can prepare myself for bad news.

JRH4622 · 05/03/2021 10:14

@treesall I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea for a student midwife to call me for my booking appointment (they are doing them in two parts here) and she said they cant schedule early scans (which I know is BS but I cant want to call her out) so it felt like a sign to wait!
I knew with my last two that they had failed too, we have to trust our instincts! This time feels different, its still so early but like I said I have to be positive!
I'm rooting for you, cant wait to hear great news from your scan! xx

OutComeTheWolves · 07/03/2021 01:05

Hi could I join too?

Just found out that I'm expecting my third and I'm swinging between being totally over the moon and wondering if I've bitten off more than I can chew!

JRH4622 · 07/03/2021 07:05

@OutComeTheWolves Congratulations!! Sounds like you will have your hands full but you will be so blessed xx

Sallyjo27 · 07/03/2021 07:49

Hi ladies I’m currently 4 weeks pregnant and due on the 15th of November. This is my 5th pregnancy after my previous 4 have ended in miscarriage. Lots of tests etc found nothing wrong so this time I’m on clexane injections, cyclogest pessaries and aspirin. Hoping it works 🤞🏽 I’ve got no symptoms really apart from my boobs being a bit sore and nipples are sensitive x

DizSquiz · 07/03/2021 08:01

@MumofOne93

Hi ladies I've just joined over on the Facebook group please could you accept me ☺️

Also curious to know if anyone is early and experiencing menstrual like symptoms? Not massively painful but like the discomfort and pains I get before my period usually.

I've taken a bazillion tests and they're all positive but I'm still convinced AF is going to arrive 🤦‍♀️

@MumofOne93 hey how are you getting on? I'm having similar but have also read it can be due to stuff stretching in there x 🤷🏼‍♀️
JRH4622 · 07/03/2021 08:51

@DizSquiz and @MumofOne93 I've had the same, twinges and pulling...like cramps but not painful! I've read that it is the hormone Relaxin kicking in! I don't think it's anything for us to worry about! Xx

DizSquiz · 07/03/2021 09:16

@JRH4622 thank you! That's reassuring to know, haven't seen anything about that, only all the potential bad things. Think im going to have to block google 😅 xx
