Garman · 10/03/2021 13:14

After the sudden big bleed yesterday it eased off then and is only pink when wiping. From my last mmc experience I know that this isn't even considered "much" bleeding. I'm still nauseous as hell and that started to dissipate the same day I started bleeding last time, so I'll have to wait and see for now. Why is it all so hard and stressful!

Hope everyone is well x

babynov · 10/03/2021 13:50

Oh @Garman I hope you are ok.

Fingers crossed. Not having a definitive outcome is awful.

treesall · 10/03/2021 13:57

@Garman have you had a scan? Would your EPU not do one for you given what's happening?

Garman · 10/03/2021 16:16

No haven't had a scan, if I ring EPU they'll just tell me to go to A&E, where I'll be examined, told that it's nothing major as of yet because it's not a lot of blood and that epu will send me an appointment in 3-5 working days. So I might as well wait it out and see what happens before I put myself through the A&E crap.

treesall · 10/03/2021 16:43

@Garman Ah ok. I'm sorry to hear your EPU are so inaccessible! That's not very helpful. I must be very lucky here - you leave them a voicemail, they call back to discuss what's happening the same day and give you an appt the next morning if needed.

I have everything crossed for you that it turns out to be nothing significant and all is ok .

Maya000 · 10/03/2021 17:24

Hi @Garman sorry to interrupt I just wanted to add that I had bright red bleeding at 7 weeks which tailed off after 2-3 days and I also passed a large flesh like clot which i thought was the sac. Epu said they couldn't do anything for me and it looked like I had a miscarriage. So, I went into a&e complaining of cramps and bleeding. They had to scan me to rule out ectopic etc. My gynae said some ladies experience something called breakthrough bleeding which might be what you have. Despite my issues, I had a healthy pregnancy with no further issues. Wishing you all the best! Take care xx

Garman · 10/03/2021 17:43

Thanks, I actually went to A&E with cramps and bleeding last time and was examined but as cervix was closed they sent me on my way with the epu appointment info. I honestly don't mind which way this goes, I've made my peace with it, I'd just prefer to know either way!

Back to your happy pregnancy chat guys, don't worry about me 🙂

onlyhereforthefood · 10/03/2021 18:35

@treesall and @Garman sending you both lots of good thoughts and positivity xx

MilaMarsh94 · 11/03/2021 09:20

Hi everybody,

Can I join you all please? First time mum here & got my BFP last week, difficult to estimate an accurate due date as my last period was actually a withdrawal bleed after coming off the pill but if we're going from that my due date will be 11/11/21.

I'm very nauseous & sore boobs so far, I have my first midwife appointment next week.

Mega nervous! Wishing you all lots of luck & love x

Tohal87 · 11/03/2021 10:14

Hi. Can I join please, have requested the fb group. I’m due 1/11/21, been for early scan yesterday and had some shocking but exciting news! Twins, 2 gestational sacs, one a little smaller with only a yolk sac and one dated 6weeks with hb. I’ve never been so scared and excited at once.

mrssunshinexxx · 11/03/2021 10:53

Omg @Tohal87 I bet you are feeling all the emotions are they your first? Do you have twins in your family ?

Big congratulations @MilaMarsh94

Tohal87 · 11/03/2021 10:55

@mrssunshinexxx

Omg *@Tohal87* I bet you are feeling all the emotions are they your first? Do you have twins in your family ?

Big congratulations @MilaMarsh94

The lady that scanned said one sac is measuring 6+1 and has a heartbeat, and the other just has a yolk sac at the moment, so that's really worrying. No twins whatsoever. It's really really shocked me xx
mrssunshinexxx · 11/03/2021 13:05

@Tohal87 it is super super early and one twin is usually bigger than the other so hopefully it's just that one is growing a little faster. When is your next scan? How come you had one so early. How was your reactions ?! X

I've always been an anxious person and had an assurance scan with my 1.5yr old - it just made me feel better. Just keeping everything crossed x

FlowerGirl236 · 11/03/2021 16:54

Hi All, tentatively wanting to join in please? Miscarried at 6+3 last time and surprisingly pregnant again without a bleed in between. No idea when I ovulated so thinking I’m 4-5wks.

J6J6 · 11/03/2021 18:16

Hello, another tentative joiner here! I'm 4+4 weeks today, with a due date of 14 November. I had a MMC in June last year, so pretty nervous and wishing the next few weeks away! Hoping to go for a scan at around 8 weeks for a bit of reassurance

Hayleyn32 · 12/03/2021 22:30

Hello ladies.

I'm new here so please be kind. Very anxious.

I tested postive last Sunday. ( 4 days before period due ) 3 tests , including 1 digi .. all postive & very clear. Has chemical before so super anxious and can't shake the worry.

Very sore boobs .. 6 week scan march 24th ( just short of 2 weeks) bloody petrified!!!

Sallyjo27 · 13/03/2021 06:58

Morning ladies, would anyone like me to make a what’s app group? If so give me a message with your number and I’ll create one x

Just to reintroduce myself- I’m 5 weeks today. I’ve had 4 previous miscarriages so I completely understand how those who have experienced loss previously are feeling. Take each day as it comes although that’s easier said than done sometimes x

Seraphina1993 · 13/03/2021 07:32

Hi ladies

I'm 4+5 with my first and haven't been to GP yet. What was your experience of the first visit? Is it kinda pointless? Where I live there's a nhs midwife booking form on the hospital website but it basically says not to bother till 8 weeks.

I just don't wanna waste the gp's time this early on or is it better to get the ball rolling and be put on the system.

mrssunshinexxx · 13/03/2021 07:45

Hi @Seraphina1993 gp won't do anything it's the midwife centre you need to get registered with. Your first app will be around 8-10 weeks

Virgomum21 · 15/03/2021 14:18

Hi all, I got my BFP after IVF last week. This is my first time pregnant after many years of trying. Still very nervous but hopefully due 19 November. Would be great to join you as I got a lot of comfort through the IVF threads over the past few months. I have requested to join the fb group.
