Using a BabyZen Yo-yo for newborns

How comfy is the newborn pack for Yo-yos?

We ordered a Yo-yo 2 because of its size (we live in London) but I didn’t realise the baby has to be strapped in to lie flat. Thanks to COVID we weren’t able to see any prams/buggies in real life before ordering...

I’d naively assumed the newborn pack was a bassinet the baby could lie flat in and move around. Is the newborn pack comfy for babies? Can they sleep properly in them?

Please, please can anyone help me with the harness on the Babyzen Yoyo newborn pack? My son is just 3 months but the harness has been super tight and almost impossible to do up for weeks. I don't see how the newborn pack is for babies up to 6 months! I have loosened the straps as much as I can but the bottom part of the harness can't be adjusted much. Are you supposed to take out the coloured, padded base? Feels very flimsy without it, and don't think it would be comfortable. I'd be so grateful to anyone who can help! Thank you :)

Did you get anywhere with this? I have a 13 week old and am finding the same issue. Not sure if I should switch over the the forward facing buggy now 🤔

No! I'm in dispute with Babyzen though, because I believe they are mis-selling the newborn pack. The newborn pack is advertised as suitable for up to 9kg an d 75cm and my son was not even 7kg when he stopped fitting into it comfortably.

As far I know the 6+ pack is for babies who can sit up?

@London2Belfast my son is just over 9kg and very long , he still fits in the newborn pack fine ? Even with thicker outdoor clothing on , I had switched over today to the seat because of the weight limit but didn't really want to.

Im interested in getting the yoyo 2 aswell. I like how its lightweight and not bulky

Did anyone of you get car seat attachments for it? Is it worth getting the attachment

Also can someone guide me. Whats the difference between newborn pack and bassinet set thats being sold on John lewis. Is it the same or diffsrent

Love it - we used the newborn pack until 6 months no issues - I was glad she was strapped in as I had her up and down tube escalators and stairs regularly getting around London

Also if you need to get up stairs or something and nobody around to help - I find I can lift it myself (not ideal) but possible
