Waiting club for 12 week scan

Anyone else waiting for their 12 week scan?

I'm 6+3 going off my last period & I'm already sooooo bored! I just want that confirmation and relief.

I'm pregnant (obviously) but I don't have strong symptoms.

I have nausea sometimes throughout the day, I ache, I want to sleep 24/7 and my hormones are off the scale. Crying over a banana one minute then laughing hysterically at nothing the next. The mood swings are just... yeah.

My cramping has stopped this past week and my boobs haven't got sore yet. I know, I know, I shouldn't complain! But I want to know this is real haha.

Anyone in the same club?

I can't remember if you said before if you're going to find out the gender @mincedpea? The symptoms have still been so bad. I'm so sick all the time, have pulled lots of muscles in my stomach and back which is painful too but like I said seeing him/her today made it so worthwhile!

@Nombie I had my booking appointment today, my hospital midwife was so lovely. She's concerned about the mental health history of myself and my mums side of the family, so she's going to be sure to monitor that & has encouraged me to bring up anything I feel.

My 12 week scan is booked for 14th April when I'll be 13 weeks.

I'm also having the screening tests done.

Glad they've been in touch with you @Nombie, all the midwives and staff I've been in touch with at my maternity hospital have been so reassuring. It's extra worrying when it's a first baby, I'm with you there. I hope the booking in appointment goes OK.

@ConstantlyPanicking Ah no, still sick and achey? Poor you, sorry to hear that. I heard it gets better in the second trimester so hopefully you'll be coming out of that soon. Haha, funny you should ask that - I am convinced it's a girl and we even refer to the baby as she, so we will have to find out at the 20 week scan if only to prepare mentally. We'd be really happy regardless but I just have a random feeling it's a girl, based on absolutely nothing at all! How about you? Are you going to do the early sex screening via a Harmony test or something like that? Are you in any of the birth clubs? I've been lurking occasionally but wanted to wait until the dating scan to join properly.

Hi Everyone - how are things?

I have my second 12 week scan this evening - finally be able to do the test etc. feeling anxious again but fingers crossed everything is still going well. My symptoms have started to ease off, which is worrying me a little but hope this is normal by now?! I'm currently working from home - I had to tell work earlier than I would've liked to, but once today is over I can start telling everyone and stop telling fibs as to why I'm not at work! Hope everyone is doing well xxx

Hi, it's definitely an anxious time currently. I have terrible migraines and they're getting worse with pregnancy, I've had 2 this week and had to get sent home from work, just being sick anywhere and everywhere and I'm exhausted. I'm not excited anymore, I'm fed up and want to feel better. I'm also worried I'm not taking enough food/drink because of it. I'm 9 weeks today and my scan isn't until 14th April.

I can't work from home so I haven't isolated yet, I can't afford to but I'm not seeing anyone & staying home otherwise.

Luckily work is fairly limited to human contact and we have strict hygiene rules in place too so until I'm forced to isolate I'm gonna keep going. If this sickness doesn't bed bound me first that is

Had some bleeding this morning so the clinic booked me in within 2 hours!
Dated me 7+5 (bang on) and everything is as should be. Still feels ages away for booking in appt let alone standard scan. Thankful for today though.
