Just that really, I can see older threads asking the same but I am after recent experiences.

Thanks 🙂

2 nights but only for help with breastfeeding

“Help with breastfeeding” on my ward was “shall i get you some formula?” There was no one with the time or expertise to help so any difficulty was met by an offer of formula.

Nice if there is help but i got along better at home where i didn’t get “is he feeding again? Shall i get formula, give you a break?” every few hours.

@PaulHollywoodsSexGut thank you. I do understand where you are coming from. I don't have any family that can help at the time, so we are muddling through a little, but that's Okay. I'm sure, as you say, all will be fine.

I had an EMCS but was not in labour so similar to ELCS. Baby was born at 17:30 and I was out the following lunchtime. It was pretty speedy but this was my preference as the post-natal ward was noisy and busy and I wanted to get home to my 3yo DS.
