Is anyone else due in may 2020? Shall we set up a group?

Hope you’re all having a good weekend! How’s everyone feeling? I have my midwife app tomorrow eve 😊

Sacda · 15/09/2019 13:59

Hey, I think my due date will be end of May,not sure as I hve not seen doc yet,but im feeling tired, vomiting, this is my third one the other two pregnancies I had very bad sickness hope I don't get this time.

Ladies how do you see if I joined the group,
Wishing everyone happy and smoother pregnancy

May2311 · 15/09/2019 17:59

@Sunshine8888 ahhh exciting!!! Let us all know how it goes.

I haven't stopped today as we are decorating and i have just sat down for a cuppa and got a shock as totally forgot I was pregnant! It's scary really- it's made me worried now that somethings wrong!

7weeks + 1 today by LMP but I think I'm actually 5weeks + 5 ish by my guessing!

EmmaOvary · 16/09/2019 11:31

Sorry to be a downer on everyone but today I just feel anxious, weepy and low. I can't shake it off. After I got my BFP I'd told my closest friend because I panicked a bit due to having just been made redundant and now I really wish I hadn't told her because despite clearly asking her not to tell anyone, I went to a BBQ at her house yesterday and she got drunk and basically let it slip in front of someone I don't even know. It made me really angry and anxious as I already don't feel in control. I don't think this is a normal reaction though, is it? I know a lot of this is pregnancy hormones. DH is so excited and I feel guilty that I don't really.

Sunshine8888 · 16/09/2019 13:28

@EmmaOvary that is very disrespectful of your friend. Can you have a word and explain how anxious you are feeling? It is not her news to share.

Don’t feel guilty for not being excited. The first trimester is so terrifying. My DH keeps trying to make plans, talk about new family car and finances etc and I’m like please slow down! Until I get to the 12 week mark and know there’s a healthy baby growing I can’t think beyond that! I think it’s totally normal to feel this way and we are all here to support each other through this. I am going to share the anxiety I’ve been having with the midwife later, I really hope she can reassure me as I’d love to enjoy this pregnancy instead of feeling sick and anxious everyday!

EmmaOvary · 16/09/2019 13:37

@Sunshine8888 I think so too. She is the worst person to tell a secret to, as despite the best intentions, and especially with a few drinks in her, she will blab anything. It is also my fault for telling her, given this. It was quite an oblique comment but for me it was too obvious and didn't need to be said. Now I feel like I need to avoid being around her and other people if she's drinking as it will just keep happening.

I have calmed down a little now and booked myself a yoga class for later which will hopefully help. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who isn't excited yet. My DH is also going on about schools! He is really jumping the gun. I'm so glad I didn't tell any more people as I'm not sure I could cope with all the bloody squealing people do - feel like I would want to tell them to feck off at the moment.

EmmaOvary · 16/09/2019 13:40

Also,@Sunshine8888, good luck with your midwife appointment later, I'd be interested to hear why she says about the anxiety.

Sunshine8888 · 16/09/2019 13:44

Thank you @EmmaOvary i will let you know how it goes.

I’ve only told both sets of parents and my best friend. I won’t be telling anyone else for a while! It’s hard to keep it quiet at work because I have a really small team. The constant eating at my desk and running to wee must be obvious but no one has said anything. Just praying the sickness stays away. I just feel a bit hungover most of the time which is not nice but I’ll take that over vomiting!!

EmmaOvary · 16/09/2019 13:52

@Sunshine8888 haha! Poor you. I'm only 5 weeks so no sickness yet (apart from when I just have just conceived- weird). We haven't told parents yet and DH says his mum would tell everyone!

MountAbora · 16/09/2019 13:58

Heya All, can I join please?
4+5 with my first, found out last Tues and excited but feeling anxious at every cramp or back pain thinking it means something bad.
Think I’m due 20th May Smile

DiniDee2019 · 16/09/2019 17:12

Hi all, Can I join please
Got my BFP on Wednesday 5+2
Very excited Smile have my first midwife appt on Wednesday xx

MamaGothel · 16/09/2019 20:09

Hello everyone
I've applied to join the Facebook group as well. Got my BFP last Tuesday (very faint). I'm not sure of my dates because I missed my last couple of periods but I had a scan on Friday and they couldn't see anything yet. I'm not too worried because I do think I'm somewhere in week 4. Also had 2 lots of blood taken so hoping to find out my HCG levels tomorrow.

Sunshine8888 · 16/09/2019 20:36

I just had my booking appointment. All fine, went on for about 90 mins. Have felt a bit dizzy today, discovered that my blood pressure is low which explains it! Midwife is also checking with consultant if I need any further check up due to abnormal cervical cells diagnosed in June. She didn’t seem too concerned about the bleeds but she said they do like to check everything is ok so if I have more please come and be seen basically. It’s just so difficult with work - waiting around for up to 4 hours on a week day morning 😬 I just so hope baby is ok

May2311 · 16/09/2019 21:24

@Sunshine8888 glad to hear it has gone well! Good to know the midwife has spotted low BP early- at least they can keep an eye on you throughout now.

MountAbora · 17/09/2019 08:15

Anyone had their symptoms lessen and it all been okay?
Iv had bad cramps, back ache and really sore breasts for over a week now however today my breasts are barely sore & no cramps but still have lower back ache. I’m only 4+6. Should I be worried?

May2311 · 17/09/2019 20:34

@MountAbora try not to worry- my symptoms keep coming and going in waves. I expect it is our bodies getting used to the hormones but then there is another surge so it hits us all over again.

My sister and friend had twins and both of them had very little symptoms throughout the first trimester which is bizarre as you would think theirs would double! Xx

MountAbora · 17/09/2019 21:34

@May2311 thank you. Its good to know it’s not just me. I hope your pregnancy is running fairly smoothly. I’m not sure why but I just can’t relax and believe that I’m pregnant and so every little thing has me in a panic.

Wow both with twins! I think my DP would have a kitten 🤣

MummaR92 · 22/09/2019 10:35

Can I join in? I found out yesterday I was pregnant so would be due the end of May 😁😁😁

flissity · 22/09/2019 13:18

Hi! Those of you that have been emotional and anxious etc I definitely am the same :/ have been feeling really like PMs type of feelings! Stress, impatient anti-social Confused
Last night we went out and I had he tiniest bit of blood when i wiped. Was red but literally a 3cm long thin streak!
But nothing since then.... we did dtd yesterday for the first time
In a week, could that have caused it?

My af would have possibly been due this weekend BUT i got my Bfp 6 days ago so can’t be implantation bleeding

Sam3086 · 03/10/2019 19:23

Today I got my due date 😬 27th May however I think my partner hopes I become overdue so he can take paternity when the Euro football tournament is on 😂
I’m quite nervous being 6+2 but due to twice having a condition called placenta pervia I am again high risk and will need extra appointments.

Woodlandwitch · 03/10/2019 21:16

I’ve been advised to aim to not put on more than 15lbs this pregnancy.
I’ve no idea how I’m going to manage that!
I seem to be so hungry all the time 😱

flossy12 · 14/10/2019 04:48

Hope everyone is doing ok ☺️☺️ been abit MIA on Mumsnet lately as got a very busy life atm! Just wanted to see how everyone is doing as all the chats seem to have dwindled away 😩

The old may 2020 thread reached 1k and no one has tagged me in a new one so got no one to talk about symptoms with 😂😆

Woodlandwitch · 14/10/2019 08:08
