As per the title. Do you know where you conceived?

My OH and I had the conversation earlier, he asked if I thought we'd caught on while we were away at our caravan. Turns out we probably did! Our bean was conceived in flamborough. Our favourite place 😍😍😍

St Patrick's day - twice! Ds born exactly 9 months after and now dc2 expected due date 17th Dec 2019... it's the luck of the Irish Grin

Well I guess since sperm may live for quite a few days/be slow swimmers etc etc, most people wouldn't know exactly the moment of conception. They'd know the love-making moment but for alot of people it's probably really something like when they're asleep, in the corner shop picking up milk or taking the bins out 😂

My first was Wandsworth common after a boozy picnic Blush and my second the stairs of our new house, this one after a wild night out in Kingston I'm cringing now

I just found out this morning that I'm pregnant. We are just back from our honeymoon, so if I ovulated around the usual time (didn't use OPKs) then we likely conceived in Victoria - Vancouver Island, or Whistler in Canada 😊

Our stanky old broken bed after my Christmas party and my husband ate his body weight in kebab.
Proper sexy. Super romantic. 😂

Leftielefterson · 15/07/2019 20:58

I can pinpoint the day - we dtd 3 times that day and I remember thinking well if I don’t pregnant after this I never will and voila it happened!

After a very exciting The Damned gig...DD1 is now 32
Pontins Southport DD2 is now 27 ( ex DH was a junior doctor doing oncall medical cover for a week when he was on Annual leave - we went to see him. It was a dire place and there was only one thing to do when DD1 had gone to bed)

Kanga83 · 15/07/2019 21:02

Yes! I know the dates too. 1st born was conceived in our bed after a night out following surgery for endometriosis . I had been bed bound for 4 weeks prior to it. 2nd child was again our bed, new house, and was a spontaneous eventful shagathon after a holiday. Clearly we were both feeling it after a break.

At home, in bed.... adventurous us!

I do know the exact night though, we were having a month off ttc as it was driving us bonkers and we had visitors over my most fertile few days so decided not to try with guests in the guest room! All went out and got a bit tipsy and... Grin

Baby #1 on our bedroom floor
Baby #2 at some point in Christmas holidays at home - can’t remember when though
Baby #3 in our bed

#1 was ‘too early’ in my cycle - day 5 and then didn’t dtd again that month so was convinced it wasn’t possible that month.

#3 was ‘too late’ in my cycle - we had missed my ovulation window as we had been away for weekend with friends and small children who slept badly so we were too knackered to dtd until we were home, thought we had def missed it for that month but caught again!

I was tracking precisely first time so was really surprised at long duration between dtd and ovulation temp spike. Just goes to show how unpredictable the whole conception business is!

MadameJosephine · 15/07/2019 21:24

DS was conceived on my parents living room floor Blush (we were staying there over Christmas)

DD was a very drunken birthday weekend in Ravenglass in the Lake District. We’d tried for 5 years and had given up hope

Passthecake30 · 15/07/2019 21:32

Ds was on the front room floor, after an entire bottle of Chardonnay Blush

Dd was in bed... but once again involved alcohol

Sandsnake · 15/07/2019 21:32

In a chalet room in the French alps. DH (only half jokingly) blames the altitude and the fact that DS spent his first few days whizzing down a mountain as the cause of his, erm, spirited temperament as a baby. He insisted on closer to sea level for the next one. Currently 10 weeks with number two, who was conceived at home in bed...Grin

CmdrCressidaDuck · 15/07/2019 22:16

Why are so many people doing it on the floor?! Don't you people have beds, sofas, or, in a pinch, carpeted stairs or kitchen counters? Grin

misslucienne · 15/07/2019 22:30

Yep, we have a Lanzarote and a Blackpool baby! Grin

misslucienne · 15/07/2019 22:33
