As per the title. Do you know where you conceived?

My OH and I had the conversation earlier, he asked if I thought we'd caught on while we were away at our caravan. Turns out we probably did! Our bean was conceived in flamborough. Our favourite place 😍😍😍

Not sure for DC1 but DC2 was conceived Christmas Eve while DC1 was taking a nap.

applesauce1 · 15/07/2019 07:25

In bed. 6am before work because I was ovulating and he was going away for the weekend the next day. Not romantic at all.

I was conceived in Malta, which is a much nicer story!

SockQueen · 15/07/2019 07:26

DS1 - my parents' house, the night of the Strictly final (when Jay McGuinness won).

DS2 - in our own bed. Both not very exciting!

Moscow. And Whitley Bay.

Under a microscope in Woking - ICSI.

CherryPavlova · 15/07/2019 07:29

Yes our son was nearly called Randolph after the hotel.

mrspotatohed · 15/07/2019 07:44

On a couch in Bratislava Wink

TinyMystery · 15/07/2019 07:55

In Mexico... either just before or just after Ironman Cozumel. We like to think it was the same day we visited the Mayan ruins of a fertility temple.

LexieLoos · 15/07/2019 07:56

In a hotel overlooking Times Square

@Esto That’s lovely Smile

secretlyhermione · 15/07/2019 08:34

Yep! My partner works abroad for a month, and then home for a month, so we had some limited time slots! Nonetheless, we conceived the first weekend he was back in the first month of trying in his childhood home at his parents house :D Not sure our future son/daughter will want to hear the story given his grandparents still live there and he/she will be visiting them a lot!

secretlyhermione · 15/07/2019 08:36

@Unluckyinlove2019 interesting stat! Our baby is due in October and we conceived end of Jan. I understand why, a lot of couples probably decide to try "in the New Year" haha!

DianaBlythe · 15/07/2019 08:38

DH’s best friend’s bed Blush. We were staying with him in his one bedroom flat and he kindly took the sofa. In my defence we had been trying for 2 years at this point.

madcatladyforever · 15/07/2019 08:40

In a big victorian psychiatric hospital where I was working before they all got shut down in the 1980's before "care" in the community.
By my boyfriend I hasten to add, not one of the inmates lol.

sar302 · 15/07/2019 08:48

@Esto I like that! My DS was delivered by an entirely female surgical team. The only man in the room was my husband. I was high as a kite, but I remember that and thinking it was cool.

think DS was conceived after a drunken girl's night out, where I remember downing a lot of wine and "cheers"ing that I wasn't yet pregnant Blush

sar302 · 15/07/2019 08:49

(So I could drink that night, not because I didn't actually want to be pregnant!£

WinterRose92 · 15/07/2019 08:52

Yes! DS was conceived on my birthday at a travel lodge in Brighton 😂
32 weeks pregnant with our DD but not too sure where she was conceived!

DeadDoorpost · 15/07/2019 08:54

Cornwall, for both. In fact, I know exactly where I was when the egg implanted for this pregnancy as I suddenly came over all sick for no reason, as though my Hyperemesis had come back. I was at a restaurant. Almost threw up everywhere. Got the positive a few weeks later just after Christmas

zafferana · 15/07/2019 09:11

DS1 in a hotel in Breckenridge. DS2 in our bed at home. I was conceived in a hotel in Nice apparently!

mooglycrunch · 15/07/2019 09:28

Both at home in bed. Not the most exciting but we have just got rid of the mattress and I was a bit emotional seeing it go!

With the first we were trying for 3 years. I remember Dtd and falling asleep with my DH hand on my stomach wishing for a miracle and feeling like it may actually happen!
I know when the egg implanted because I was driving over Kew Bridge and felt like someone had stabbed me in the pelvis. I remember saying OW! OW, OW! out loud and being upset as I thought it was my period starting.
Ds2 again I know where implantation happened. I was in Ask in Kew and thought I was going to faint or throw up over my food...........
I don't even live in Kew but to be sure I don't think I'll visit again, 2 is enough for me!

MammaToBe2019 · 15/07/2019 09:31

Due in 2 weeks with DC1. I know the day, time, place and position i conceived 🙈 BD and I didn't see eachother much that month lol

ValleyoftheHorses · 15/07/2019 09:32

Just off junction 26 of M1 (Care Nottingham). We always look fondly on that junction as we drive pastGrin

hipstercat · 15/07/2019 10:36

Boringly in bed at home, but probably on my birthday which I thought was a nice gift after a long time TTC!

mommato3 · 15/07/2019 10:57

In our home ,day after i got my smear test so any older women trying to get pregnant go for a smear test it does help get pregnant x

Isadora2007 · 15/07/2019 11:30

First, yes as I was on a weekend away and it was the only time I’d had sex that month.
Second must have been in our home as we didn’t have an exciting sex life by then.
Third was in the spare room when we’d given up our bed for in-law visit. Said visit had curbed our sex life considerably so I could pin point when we’d conceived.
Fourth was our bed, again due to boring standard sex life with too many kids.
All conceived in Scotland...
