I might be losing the plot....

My last period started on 4th June, I calculated my ovulation to be around 20th-24th June (I'm not the best with these calculations!). My periods usually last 7 days, my cycle length is typically 29 days. So due on tomorrow (2nd July). I have been ravenous, I'm usually very controlled as I meal prep weekly and eat no junk food or unhealthy snacks. I feel really swollen, mild cramps but nothing more than I would usually get. But my lower back has also been quite painful, as well as sooooo exhausted when I haven't even been doing anything! I also just feel, different. Very emotional and for no reason.

I took a really cheap test I had lying about the house yesterday evening, it was negative. But figured it was cheap, and quite early to test. Do you think it would be worth grabbing an early detection test, from experience what's the best brand, FR? Has anyone else has really early pregnancy signs, or is it not common for that too happen?

Late period and terrible skin around my jaw line

DeadDoorpost · 02/07/2019 19:55

That red dye one looks way more positive than my BFPs!! I also hate the CB digital.told me I wasn't when I got positives on all others.

First symptom was the Hyperemesis I suffer from. But that happened after the BFP

Erm, when I was talking to a friend about periods returning after giving birth and I said mine had come back but that was 6 weeks ago and nothing since. Really didn't think any more of it. Then woke up with a lightbulb moment in the middle of the night thinking maybe I was pregnant. Did a test in the morning and yep, I sure was. With a 4 month old baby 😬

funnystory · 02/07/2019 20:06

I wasn't pregnant with a 4 month old baby, I meant I was 6 weeks pregnant and also had a 4 month old baby 😀

Tingly boobs

Bourbonbiccy · 02/07/2019 20:11

Mine was when the doctor told me I was pregnant, and about 15wks and they thought it was ectopic, it wasn't. But looking back I was absolutely exhausted earlier on and very emotional.

My mum thought she had just eaten too many pies, as there was a new pie shop by her work, then one of her colleagues mentioned being late on her period. My mum then realised she had only had 1 period since she had started at her job. And the pregnancy test they made her take before she started her job was negative lol imagine that these days !!

Thirst! Second pregnancy that's how I knew I was pregnant. I was drinking gallons of water and still thirsty.

Tonytonymacaroni · 02/07/2019 21:18

With my first, my friend suspected before I did because I was so tired and wanted to nap during the day when we were on holiday together. I dismissed it but then the da after I got home, I had such sudden unexplained nausea that I just knew. Test confirmed it that day. Second time, I was expecting the same symptoms (and tracking my cycles and actively trying this time) but it was a test taken the morning before a wedding to ‘rule it out so I knew whether I could drink’ but I think on some level I knew why I had packed the pregnancy test to take to the air bnb in Devon. No proper symptoms apart from a bit of tiredness but I thought that was because we had a toddler who wasn’t sleeping well at the time. The second time, my boobs also felt more tender too.

Gums...every single time. Weirdly sore/sensitive gums? Baby. Grin

Lucafritz · 02/07/2019 23:42

Mother87 · 03/07/2019 00:22

Dizziness... EVERY time...

PregnantSea · 03/07/2019 06:26

No symptoms at all before my BFP

sweetheartyparty · 03/07/2019 06:55

I felt implantation pains, like a sharp pin prick each time. I've only been pregnant twice and had them each time.
Also, very sore stomach muscles, I struggled to get out of the bed again this happened both times but the second time it was before I tested. I knew I was pregnant then

MissDai5y · 03/07/2019 07:05

Look positive to me. My first sign was my vertigo kicking off.

Not the most fun but happened both times and was the reason I tested.

SkiingIsHeaven · 03/07/2019 07:46

I could smell my husband peeing in the en-suite when I was in the bedroom.

Sorry. Disgusting but true.

hennythe100footbird · 03/07/2019 09:40

A massive aversion to white meat! Didn't realise for another 4/5 weeks until I was inside the Lush shop and had to leave because I thought I was going to vom 🤢

Took a pregnancy test a couple of days later as was still feeling randomly ropey and was going to call the doctor, and you know the first thing they always ask is 'could you be pregnant?' And got a positive! No need to waste the doctors time, and now my DC is nearly 2!

imtakingabath · 03/07/2019 09:57

I got two colds back to back, because your immune system is weakened when you get pregnant. Then the week after I took the positive test I was absolutely exhausted, went to bed really early every night.

Teddybear45 · 03/07/2019 10:07

Mine was nausea and food aversions / cravings but I got those when my period was due too.

mommato3 · 03/07/2019 20:38

Metallic taste. Peeing loads. Sore boobs. Extreme tiredness. Being a more moodier cow than usual 😂😂😂

Flowersandrainbows2017 · 03/07/2019 22:12

The day before I tested, I got a weird kind of nausea that felt like it was in my throat rather than stomach... didn’t link it at first, but given I still have it now at 7+5 (on top of standard ‘stomach’ nausea!) I guess it was actually a thing!
Also, my boobs still weren’t sore 2 days before my period was due, which I thought was weird since I always get nearly a week of tenderness!

Weird isn’t it, how everyone felt so different!!
