Hey girls, as the title says just for fun, anybody want to take a guess whether my little one is boy or girl ? Feel free to post your own so I can play too 😊 xx

Hey i would say a girl too, congrats! Come back at let us know. Im 21wks guess mine i found out what im having but dr said she will check again for me.ive put photos up from my 12wk scan.x

@MoonChimes can i ask why you think definitely girl? 😁 literally 99% of people have said girl! Im trying not to get too convinced incase its a boy🙈 not that i would mind, i have 1 of each already..

and tbh most sites and literature still use the terms gender and sex interchangeable so maybe these folks need to go and get that all changed first

@ohdearymemumof3 I can see what I understand to be the nub and it looks just like my daughter's scan. Who knows if nub theory is even a thing but going by what I've learnt of it, that looks like a labia to me - no stacking, pretty clean cut. But this is all very airy fairy anyway so don't put too much stock in anything until you find out. But please update. I hope you get the news that you want

@Sazzigee your scan is a hard one, skull is rounded so i wanted to say (girl) but if thats the nub i think i can see, it looks like it slightly pointed up (boy) 🙈💗💙

I'd say boy for @LilliesMummyx but I'm new to the nub theory. Hadn't heard of it with my first. I don't know if I'm looking at the right bit for the two lines but I'd say one looks forked and I thought I'd read that meant boy? Or is it just direction?

Anyone got a confirmed boy that I can see the 12 week one of.

@blatantchanger the nub points up and the skull isn't as round at the front x

A lot of us who care about the use of language and its impact on women and girls do write to organisations and companies about using the word “gender” when they’re talking about sex.

It’s amazing how we’re able to address more than one thing at once.

Why on earth does pointing out the correct terminology and why it's important = 'getting out the pitchforks' etc.?? Very odd.

This is my scan done at 13 weeks ... I just can't tell. We aren't finding out so, it's all for fun and I'll have to play the long game to find out. Skull seems rounded but nub looks boy maybe ? Maybe it's not clear enough?

@HJWT what would you guess for the Ops @LilliesMummyx scan too ?

Thanks all mixed answers i will find out next Friday. Also i will post what I like on here using the correct or incorrect terminology! Some need to get a grip 🤣

Fixed that for you. They can't possibly know whether they are feminine or masculine yet and decide what gender they are. But their biological and fixed sex has already been determined.

I think girl, but I'm never right when I guess the baby's sex. Congratulations, whichever sex you get.
