How did you know you were pregnant?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on Mumsnet so please be nice!

I'd love to know if any of you knew or felt you were pregnant before taking a test and how you knew?

I have a copper IUD that is due to come out in 18 months but I've missed a period, feel completely burnt out with exhaustion, I'm eating like crazy and I've had odd discharge for the last week. I plan on taking a test tomorrow but would love to hear your stories.

No symptoms here, I was a date late so tested. Didn't get any symptoms until well in to first trimester. I thought I was pregnant many times before, but I wasn't. When I was, absolutely nothing!

Sudden, chronic morning all day sickness. With DD2, I missed my period on the Friday and started throwing up on the Saturday.

I was a hormonal mess crying all the time and eating everything in sight, then the late period x

We'd been trying for a long time so I knew what I normally felt like as I was tracking everything. This time, I'd started to have dizziness and nausea and pretty much knew before I did the test, even though I wasn't 100% sure, I think I new deep down it had taken that time.

bloating! extreme bloating from around 3 weeks made me test at 3w + 4, and I got a strong positive.

First time I didn't know for sure but suspected due to feeling 'odd', terrible wind, post-nasal drip and hating my husband with such intense fury and rage it was a bit scary. Second and third times I knew as soon as the rage kicked in.

I was sat eating my lunch and the eggs (which I usually love eating) all of a sudden turned my stomach and I couldn’t look at them. I had an inkling at that point so did a test later that evening and positive 1-2 weeks.

I'd been out off roading with my husband and my boobs felt like rocks, tested that evening and a very clear positive! Now 10 weeks and no more off roading!!

I had coil out mid Feb and had my period by mid march I just knew I was.
I know what I'm like before my period comes and I knew it wasn't coming. Tested a few days after it didn't arrive and I was right.
No weird symptoms until a few weeks on which were massive sore boobs and bloating. Week 8 brought on exhaustion which at week 11 hasn't really abated.

Strange dreams made me suspect, but then when cooking a bit of chorizo in a pan it was so revolting, smelled literally like poo, I thought yeah this is definite. Test confirmed it about 5 days later :)
