How old were you?

Hey all,

How old were you all having your first child? I'm 31 and husband is 38. Just wondering if we are quite old or not to be having first child?

29, almost 30 with our first, dh was 41. With last one I was 37 and dh was 49

27 with my first, 40 for my last.
What aspect of your ages are you concerned about?

I was 32 when first DC born and will be 34 (almost 35) when 2nd born x

26 with firstborn, 29 with second. Getting married again next year so haven't fully ruled out another one (fiancé doesn't have any biological children) but I'll be 39 when we marry and sons will be 10 and almost 13 so not sure if it's a good idea...

I’m expecting my first at 40.
I’ve been a nanny for over 24 years, so know what it is like to kids, so wanted to wait.
But everyone is different.

22 with first one 27 with 2nd and 29 with 3rd and will be 32 when 4th one is born. People are getting older these days to having baby's which is the norm now

24 and DH was 27.

17 with first and 19 with 2nd

I was 24 DP 28

Ps I'm 29 now and non of my friends have had a baby yet.

I was 31 with my first and pregnant with my second at 37

I was 17 and dp was 19, we was 18 and 20 when he was born.
Second I was 20 when he was born
Third I was just turned 23
Fourth I was 24
5th I was just turned 26

And this time I should be just turned 29, however I’m feeling like it will be before my birthday.

Dc1 pregnant at 19 gave birth at 20
Dc2 pregnant at 20 gave birth at 21
Dc3 pregnant at 24 gave birth at 25
Dc4 pregnant and gave birth at 28

Now 31 and expecting dc5 before my 32nd birthday

37 for me, husband is late 20's.

I'm 28 and most of my friends were 25-30 having their firsts too. It seems late 20s-early 30s is more normal nowadays, so I think you're more average than quite old in all honesty.

Pregnant with my first and I'm 29!

I was 28, DH 31

I'm 26 with my first and my partner is 25

I will be 47y & 9m when our twins arrive later this year. DH will be 50y & a couple of weeks off his 51st. He has adult children and was 20 when his first was born!! I am aware that I’m not just old or geriatric but a positive dinosaur in terms of first time mum age!!

Both DH and I will be 33 (due in December)

I also thought I'd be a mum in my early 20s, but it's just not how it all worked out

My DM was 28 when she had me and I always thought that made her an older mum!

I was 41 with our DD, DH was 43. I'm now 43 and ttc #2. Most of my friends were late 30s/ early 40s.
