What made you think you were pregnant before it was confirmed?

I have 3DC so know the routine for me....with each of them I’ve had nagging lower back pain and the smell of cigarettes made me want to throw up 🤮 Just wondered if other people just ‘knew’ because of anything like that?

Then again, I dreamed I went for a scan and the told me it was a baby leopard with DS2...

I have DTs, and during the 2ww I felt them burrowing in, in two different places. Never had it before or since, they’re my only kids.

I woke up one morning and all I could think about was burnt meat. I was desperate for the burnt ends of a roast beef joint. Then later on the cat jumped up on me and kept knitting on my stomach, and she had been doing it the night before too, even though she wasn't that affectionate usually.

I took a test (a couple of days before period was due) and it confirmed I was pregnant. So I did the logical thing, went out and bought a further six tests from different brands and did all those tests too 😂

Bad lower back ache and really sore boobs! I knew something was up very quickly!

Oh and Also my smell was very heightened and I kept having very strange very vivid dreams!

I always get really itchy

I have a long, irregular cycle, so I tested at 5w. With the boys I didn't get any symptoms before 6w. With the girls: morning sickness from 4w and an altered sense of smell (the fridge smelt nasty!).

But every time I have tested, I have had a positive. So how did I know to test those times and not other times when I had a long cycle? I must have 'known' something.

Sore boobs both times. Weird poking/pinching pains (not cramps). No idea what they are but the only time I've experienced them is in early pregnancy.

Saturday - HUGE exercise intolerance, suddenly unable to even walk up the stairs.
Monday - really sore boobs
Tuesday - BFP after vomiting. Haven’t stopped vomiting since and now 17 weeks!

Boob tingles.not pain, like fluttering tingles. Only ever felt it when trying to fall pregnant (I assume was but lost at implantation) and when I fell for our two dc. Not felt it since. Very obvious and I knew about one week before first period due

Sore boobs and I remember crying irrationally over something and I’m not a crier normally. And I just sort of had a feeling, even though I got a couple of negative tests I knew AF wasn’t going to arrive (I ovulated late).

Extremely tender breasts for me

Woke up at 3am with a rumbling stomach and hunger like I hadn't eaten for a week. Got the palest whiff of a line (9dpo I think) and then couldn't get back to sleep for excitement!

I’ve had the same with all three and it’s not one I’d heard of as a symptom! For the week prior to my period being due, I just couldn’t sleep properly, and I was wired. As in, I would wake regularly throughout the night, then early morning I would just be so awake I’d give up and get up for the day and I wouldn’t be tired. I’m normally a deeper sleeper and certainly don’t get out of bed earlier than I have to

I’ve only ever felt that in very early pregnancy with all three, and within a week following a positive test I crash into super pregnancy tiredness. I had other symptoms too but they all varied, this has been my one consistent ‘I must be pregnant’ symptom.
