Is this test positive after my abortion?

Hi all, I had a 13 week surgical abortion after a lot of thought at the end of November. I took a test on Wednesday as recommended by Marie stopes but it was negative.. I had coincidently bought a pack of two tests and I still haven't had a period so thought I would double check and what I think is a faint line has come up! Could anyone give me their thoughts on this and tell me whether they think I'm imagining it or if they can see a line too? There is meant to be a vertical line through the middle of the round window. I'll be absolutely devastated if I'm pregnant again as it was so hard to make the decision of terminating and I was so heartbroken after my procedure. Of course there's the possibility that I have retained some tissue but it doesn't feel like it and my bleeding had completely stopped by just over two weeks.

Why did you not go out and buy tests and do them at home? Saves you trying to run for the loo whilst out and about.

Because I wanted to buy them and do them as soon as I got home which is why I purposely went out after drinking a lot of water

First morning urine (fmu) will give you a better idea as the wee is more concentrated as you haven't been drinking or weeing all night. Drinking lots of water just to take a test will dilute your wee and possibly be inconclusive anyway. So the supermarket just saved your money by being out of stock.

You need to buy an early response test and use it tomorrow morning, at home, with FMU, not dilute your urine by drinking too much water which will only give you another questionable result this early on. If you can't buy one before then, save your first wee in a pot and dip the test once you've bought it. Dilute urine is no good for testing this early.

Went to a different Tesco in the end and have now got a test, I will be doing it in the morning and letting you all know. Fingers crossed, although I've spoken to my partner and agreed that my previous temination wasn't what we REALLY wanted (both thought the other wanted it) so as devastating as my abortion was and how guilty we'd feel if I was pregnant again straight after, if it happens, it happens.

Could still be hormones in your system tbh , if it is u should prob get a coil
