Live birth feed tomorrow

I'm 38+5 and being induced tomorrow!! I know people on here appreciate a live birth feed. I suffer from severe SPD and polyhydremones and I'm currently measuring at 47 weeks. I seen consultant yesterday who thought best to give me a sweep to try help move things along before tomorrow and I've had a bit of bleeding today. Baby has an estimated weight of 10lbs alreadyShock!! I'm terrified, nervous and excited!

Anyone else suffered from these things and been induced a little early and have any advice?

This is my second baby but first was 6 years ago so feel so new to this!! Dd was 9lbs 8oz so generally breed big babies!

Encouraging posts are welcome lol!!

Ooh good luck Xmas Grin

Good luck op. My smallest has just taken his first steps 😪😪😪 so would love squishy baby update when you get there.

Well done by the way. It's not easy. X

So apparently I have the laziest baby on the ward! Some good news is that his head is finally fixed in place. Midwife is currently speaking to consultant to see if they will go ahead and break my waters at this hour rather than waiting till tomorrow morning so fingers crossed they can get me in and I can just get this over with.

Contractions are 2 minutes apart, and one last question.. how do us women forget how sore these f**kers are?!

Good luck!!

I had poly when pregnant with da now 4. I'm also a midwife. I actually went into labour spontaneously as they don't induce for that in my hosp. Also had had two previous normal deliveries. Anyway like yourself head wouldn't engage for ages so slowed things down a bit but once waters were broken it took off and was fine!

I'm also a midwife

Frazzled2207 · 17/12/2018 00:03

Golly good luck x

Leafy2018 · 17/12/2018 00:08

Good luck! Hoping when I check in the night (when I'm up for my 16th wee) there will be an update saying you have had your baby!

Leigh92 · 17/12/2018 05:49

I am being taken in the next hour or so to have my waters broken, all contractions have stopped hoping he's here by this afternoon x

Wow. What a marathon OP. Almost there now and those snuggly new born cuddles will be worth it this afternoon. Hope you have been able to have some rest . 💐

Leigh92 · 17/12/2018 07:22

My waters broke on their own about half an hour after my previous post! I can't tell you how it feel to feel like I can breathe again, the water is still coming away there is so much!!

Excellent, something is obviously happening

WitchDancer · 17/12/2018 08:05

That's brilliant news, I hope things are going well. I remember my induction with DS2, which seemed to take forever to get going and then it all happened so quickly my DH nearly didn't make the birth

Worieddd · 17/12/2018 08:24

Eeeek! Hope you get lots of cuddles soon

BigApple11 · 17/12/2018 08:26

Leigh92 · 17/12/2018 11:37

Contractions coming regularly and stronger, getting examined in half an hour to see where it's going from there x

Good luck Smile we spoke on another thread a couple of weeks ago. I'm a couple of weeks behind you but with Polyhydramnios also. Glad to hear your waters went safely, hoping you get those snuggles before the day is out Thanks
