Where were you when you went into labour ?

Interested in hearing people's labour stories, where were you when you starting getting contractions ?
I'm thinking mine will wake me up in the middle of the night or something 😂

At home, wrapping Christmas presents and watching Christmas movies. DS was born just over 24 hours later. I was so sure I was going to be over due so was surprised when my contractions started. My waters went in bed in the middle of the night, about 4am but I'd been having regular contractions for hours by then, all manageable until my waters broke 😖

6 days overdue on my 1000th walk up the road one really strong contraction hit as I spoke to my cousin along the way. Kept getting them every 20 mins then closer and stronger but managed a nap before going to hospital 9hrs later at 5cm. Waters went when I was fully dilated and they were going to pop them!

I went into labour at 34 weeks but it took me 3 days to actually realise I was having contractions and I wasn't just really constipated
