When did you go in to labour with your first?

And when I say go in to labour, I don't just mean naturally without intervention. Induction and c section stories also greatly appreciated as this may be my only option!

Just curious as I'm 37 weeks on Monday and counting down the days...

I find it quite funny now, should have realised she was on the way, definite over reaction to a crap cup of tea lol

37 weeks!

I was due to be induced because of Gestational diabetes.

I wanted it as natural as possible though and didn't want to be induced. I was only on one Metformin a day and I'd been good with my diet so my consultant was pretty relaxed about it tbh.

Anyway, 1st sweep started off early labour.
2nd sweep started off active labour within an hour.

Plans went out the window but I still loved the birth. DS is 16mo. Very healthy, very happy... no issues at all.
