Can I take baby and partner to scan?

8 month old baby, don't want to tell anyone I am pregnant yet so don't want to leave baby as will look suspect. Will he be okay to come to scan?

If your concern is your partner missing the scan then book a private scan then you can take your child along to a welcoming relaxed environment for you all to see the scan images.

we did that for first scan and it was fine!

Even if you think selfishly, I can’t inagine the additional stress and upset of having to deal with getting bad news but still having to factor in looking after the needs of a ratty or hyper baby while you’re still absorbing what you’re being told.

Trying to talk about outcomes and treatment plans etc when you’ve got a baby kicking off in the pram because they want to play with the sonogram wires. Nightmare.
