Is her bump too big for the amount of weeks?

Hi all - not sure I’m posting in the right place, so I apologise if I’m not!

My cousin, who is also my best friend, found out she was pregnant a while back. She’s 14+3 today, but her bump looks too big!!
I know that may seem a bizarre thing to say because all women show at different times and in different ways with every pregnancy, but she seems to have been showing since she was about 8 weeks. Only slightly to begin with and it was more bloating than bump, but her bumps seems to have popped. I saw her on Tuesday (14+1) and her stomach was perfectly round and it’s hard. I didn’t think that it could be so big by this amount of weeks? I’ve always said to her she’s a month ahead because of how her period was in the cycle she fell pregnant and it just makes me think I’m right 😂

Also, her 12 week scan put her at 12+4, but the measurement on the top was 14cm. No idea what it actually means, but most women’s scans - actually, all of them - that I’ve seen from 12 weeks seems to be about 10cm. Wondered if anybody thought the same as I do?! She’s considering getting a second opinion with a private ultrasound!

The scan dates will be fairly accurate.

I showed really early on - when I had literally just turned 12 weeks my bump was obvious enough that someone at work confidently commented that I was clearly pregnant and I didn't fit in my clothes from 5 weeks onwards!

First pregnancy too.

Everyone is different

My bump was around the same size at 14 weeks. It was mostly bloating and seemed to stay around the same size for about 10 weeks after that.
I am now 31 weeks with what the midwives tell me is a 'neat/compact' bump. People have gone from telling me I'm going to have a huge baby, to a small one!

She looks fine to be honest

No idea if this is at all scientific but her bump looks a similar shape to mine, kind of all down the front, from ribs to knickers rather than just the bottom half and it did make me look further along then I was.

At my 18 week scan they told me I had a very high anterior placenta - so it had formed at the top at the front. And I figured that's why my bump is the shape it is.

A lot of it is bloating too though as at 14 weeks the baby is still way below the belly button so anything above that is food, gas and shifted up organs (and it can feel really hard)
