How many weeks were you when you gave birth to your first baby?

I am currently 36+4 and most people seem to be guessing that it isn't longer than a week or so before baby comes now. Some friends are even placing bets on the day, haha!!

Can I ask ho many weeks pregnant you were when you had your first born baby?

41+5 ended up being induced to get her out!

40 weeks exactly. Prompt!

My waters broke at 36+5. I was hospitalised due to being under 37 weeks and monitored regularly. Labour didn’t progress so I was induced 2 days later and had my son at 37+1 following a c-section.

40+4 I was thrilled to have all 'my' time to potter around at home

37 weeks - I was induced due to pre-eclampsia which was diagnosed at 34 weeks.

14 days over slap in the middle of a heatwave in 2003. Still a lazy shit

39+4, I'd only just started maternity leave and felt robbed!

40+12. I was induced with just the gel and he was born later that day after a 3 hour labour - just needed a little nudge to get going! I'd be happy to go overdue again - he was a great weight and so alert and healthy.

@Bibstersgirl oh I remember that heatwave! Was it worse than this year?

I was 39+5 after 2 day induction in the middle of the heatwave this year.

I was 41 + 3 so 10 days over. Reading a lot of other ladies in this thread were in the same overdue boat! Good luck OP x
