How many weeks were you when you gave birth to your first baby?

I am currently 36+4 and most people seem to be guessing that it isn't longer than a week or so before baby comes now. Some friends are even placing bets on the day, haha!!

Can I ask ho many weeks pregnant you were when you had your first born baby?

42 by EMCS after induction. He had it far too good. :)

Oh Han how exciting. With DC2 I went into labour at 11pm on my due date and delivered in the early hours of the next day.

DC one came at 38+1.

37 scheduled c section. Well booked in a week before planned because of my t2 diabetes

6 days late (after due date) she arrived naturally without sweep/induction etc

42+1 (sorry!!)

39+6, had a midwife appointment a day before and she thought I was going to need inducing as I would be overdue.

31+5 born 3lbs 11oz,I had a tear in my waters they found at 30weeks & my waters broke early.he was delivered naturally and stayed in nicu unit for 3weeks but was fine(just needed to put on weight to 5lbs)he is 10 now lol. My second a girl was born at 39weeks, contractions started so they broke waters but I had to have epidural & have her vontused out(suction cup)she is 8 now. my 3rd a girl was at 40+1 & had to be induced as heart rate was all over the place had her within 6hours no problems, she is 5now.my 4th and last was another girl I had at 37weeks which I was induced for as they thought she was measuring big and I also had step B & gestational diabetes, but had an emergency c section in the end as mine and babies heart beat went up, lost 2litres of blood aswel☹she weighed 7lbs 15oz in the end and is now 2.

41+6, induced after 2 failed sweeps. It was this time last year that I was overdue and going nuts!

38 weeks exactly. I’d ignore everyone telling you it will come soon, you’ll only get pissed off if it doesn’t happen. I had no inklings that baby was going to be early, my bump was small and I’d even started counting down to 40+10 which is when I knew my hospital would induce me! One of my friends had a large bump that had dropped early on, and we all thought her baby would come early. She was a week late.
I just don’t want you to get frustrated if you are late, the majority of first babies do arrive late.
