When did your nausea end?

I'm only eight weeks and can't stand it. It gets worse as the day goes on. Last pregnancy I had it for five months. I wanted to ask when people's nausea ended and was it the same during all pregnancies. I am praying it goes after first trimester.

Good question. Just found out I'm pregnant this week but with DS I was sick daily from 6-18 weeks. Hoping it's not the same this time round!

lovemyhorsesxo · 24/08/2018 18:08

It’s still happening and I’m 32 weeks

Nothisispatrick · 24/08/2018 18:09

Around 14-15 weeks

ShedDevon · 24/08/2018 18:35

17 weeks for me

FaFoutis · 24/08/2018 18:43

On the operating table as I was having the C-section. That was my second pregnancy, my other pregnancies gave me very little sickness.

Dalesgirl16 · 24/08/2018 18:49

Good grief! Feel sorry for you two who had this all the way! I hate pregnancy for this reason. I had so many problems last time but nausea is just the worse. I bought these motion sickness pads you stick to your arms that had amazing reviews on amazon but they've just arrived and say not for use by pregnant women.

At around 14 weeks for me.

I do still get a bit nauseous if I don’t eat when I need to. The hunger comes on quite quickly so I always have snacks on me!

workshyfop · 24/08/2018 19:15

About 15-16 weeks in both pregnancies. The second wasn’t as bad as the first through.

Helpmeyouyetti · 24/08/2018 19:17

12 weeks for my first three.
Dc 4 - not till I gave birth Sad

LittleBirdBlues · 24/08/2018 19:22

Around 24 weeks with my last pregnancy and then saun from 34 weeks until the end. I also found my nausea became worse and lasted longer with each pregnancy.

Sorry op. It sucks.

cptartapp · 24/08/2018 19:27

Around 15 weeks with DC1, still throwing up in very late pregnancy with DC2. Felt like I was constantly being 'poisoned'. Couldn't work for two months both times, tried to sleep through it a lot. Awful.

thefirsttimer · 24/08/2018 19:29

13+6 today and still pretty much just as bad!

mummadave · 24/08/2018 19:34

Stopped once I'd woken up from the anaesthetic for the caesarian for DS at 35+3.
Stopped with DD once I'd given birth at 35+2 🤷🏻‍♀️

wonderstar1216 · 24/08/2018 19:41

35+2 today and it's still going

Dalesgirl16 · 24/08/2018 19:44

How awful. I really thought everyone would say after a few months:( I don't think I could deal with another pregnancy. I'm wishing the weeks away with a toddler that won't let me sit down.!

I felt horribly sick 24/7 from 5-10 weeks. I'm now 12 weeks and only feel sick in the evenings or just after eating. Otherwise I feel fine. So, it hasn't completely gone, but is a lot better.

DramaAlpaca · 24/08/2018 19:55

About 22 weeks with all three of mine.

FaFoutis · 24/08/2018 19:58

It's more normal for nausea to subside so don't panic yet.
I had a one year old when I was in the non-stop sickness pregnancy, it's about the hardest thing I have ever endured, even a few weeks of it is awful.

The bands that go on your wrists with a bobble on them are supposed to help, they didn't help me but they gave me a brief bit of hope. Otherwise it was eat the rice crispies, throw up the rice crispies on repeat for 9 months. I did get a spectacularly lovely baby out of it all though.

Rosie1976mini · 24/08/2018 19:59

30 mins after giving birth!

Aw12345 · 24/08/2018 20:01

Mine ended at 40 + 1. Aka the day Ds was born!

I really hope it stops sooner for you though, it's not common for it to drag on that long and the nausea/exhaustion is so tough.

I will say that for me the first trimester was the hardest by a very long way.

OutPinked · 24/08/2018 20:05

6-16 weeks with DS1, 5-18 weeks with this pregnancy and it has come and gone every so often since sadly Sad. I didn’t have a drop of nausea with my DD’s. Pesky boys...

Dalesgirl16 · 24/08/2018 20:37

Interesting about the gender affecting your nausea!
I'm currently wearing the travel sickness wristbands and I think they helped a tiny bit. I have started taking extra vitamin B6 the past couple of days and that has helped too I think. Still ropey during the day and vile at night. I can recommend icy water myself!

With my youngest I spent 4 months feeling very sick, then for the rest of the pregnancy I was sick for hours every night. I would never have had another baby after that. Despite that they were a big baby.

theworstwife · 24/08/2018 20:50

About 6-9 weeks with DS1, now 7 weeks with 2nd and hoping for the same Confused

Marriageoftrueminds · 24/08/2018 20:58

Mine went away at about 13 weeks. I’m now 35 weeks and admittedly I do feel a bit nauseous again now and then (started again about 32 weeks) but it’s nothing compared to tne first trimester. I feel sorry for all these PP who felt sick all the way through, and admire their honesty and tenacity, but I don’t think they’d mind my saying that it’s not ‘the norm’ for sickness to continue much beyond the first trimester.
