I had a mirina coil for 4 years and had it taken out 10 weeks ago,I havent had a period for 4 years!! well since then i have had unprotected sex twice. Started to feel a bit poorly so took a test, one from lloyds chemist, it had a faint line so took 2 more the following day they were the same, this was nearly 2 and a half weeks ago and ive took about 20 tests since then, boots own does the same and even clear blue, although the digital came up not pregnant. These lines are really faint, not everyone can see them, my bf thinks its all in my head lol I made an appointment to have a blood test but chickened out cause im petrified of needles. I dont know what to think, surely my hcg would have increased over 2 weeks??.......HELP

Take another test tomorrow morning with first morning urine as it's stronger

I did one last night and then first thing this morning - the faintest of faint lines. Am getting terribly frustrated! Period due tomorrow, will be hanging round mumsnet to distract myself till something happens (a more definitive test or a period - who knows?)

Just read this thread and realised it was 4 years old!

ShowOfHands · 06/05/2011 08:00

It's a zombie thread. Run, run from the resurrected thing...

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 06/05/2011 08:00

Yeah, but it saved me starting a duplicate so I just went with it! The point is the same... :-)

ShowOfHands · 06/05/2011 08:02

But what happens MakesCakes is that people respond to the op and trawl through something that is 'old news'. It's just forum etiquette to start a new thread or join an ongoing one.

There are lots and lots of threads in conception/pregnancy with people in their 2 week wait. It's nice to have people to chat with who are going through it right now.

I hope it works out for you. My dd was a faint line 5yrs ago.

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 06/05/2011 08:06

lol @ ShowofHands Okies. I'll go whinge somewhere else :-)
