So pleased to see you back on this thread @hayleyfx. I have everything crossed for this pregnancy. And please don't apologise about avoiding us: everyone totally understands. Congrats on your engagement too xx

Daffodil77 · 25/11/2018 08:17

@Hayleyfx I'm struggling to find the right words to say how pleased I am to see you back here. I remember feeling numb when I got that positive post MC so I can't begin to imagine how you feel. Be kind to yourself though. Use distraction until that first scan would be my advice. I think it's lovely and so important for you to remember Charlie in a material way. He will always be with you.

And lastly, but by no means least, Congratulations on your engagement!!! I'm so pleased that you've pulled together as it can so often go the other way. I know I feel like DH and I have a much stronger relationship after going through a lot in the last few years. We definitely don't sweat the small stuff so much. Xx

HidCat · 25/11/2018 16:05

@hayleyfx congratulations on your engagement and your new pregnancy. Keeping everything crossed that this is the one after all you've been through.

Thank you all so much ❤️ August really tested me and my partner but we kept each other strong. Love my photos of my boy, so glad I got some time with him, it definitely helped. I’m trying really hard to stay distracted until the scan, it’s kind of working but I just want the scan to hurry up now 🙈 Got my first midwife appointment tomorrow so will talk to her about how I’m feeling. So glad to be back here again but hope I’m sticking around this time. Lovely to see you all doing well and your beautiful babies too xx

I went for a growth scan today coz they thought he was big but actually only weighing in at 5.13 37 weeks tomorrow. They struggled to measure head properly As it's started to engage an can defo feel him pushing down & stabbing pains so hopefully not to much longer! Got to see him in 4d aswell as my sister was in work an she's a midwife. Hope everyone else is ok an growing nicely! X

Athers666 · 29/11/2018 20:46

Does anyone else find that during pregnancy everything tastes a bit weird and off? Like, literally everything I eat isn't quite right. Can't wait to be 'normal' again, haha.

Athers666 · 04/12/2018 22:07

How is everyone getting on? I'm due on the 15th and getting so nervous and anxious!

Hi team, I'm 36 weeks tomorrow. Really looking forward to finishing work next Friday. Feels a long time away though! My neighbour had her baby at the weekend and it's made me quite impatient, particularly as not knowing the gender is really starting to frustrate me.

@leamaria have they said what it might be a sign of? Or is it that you had the consultant app anyway? Hopefully they'll be able to give you answers to reassure you.

Some of you are so close now! Strange looking back to how we all must've felt on the TTC thread and now it's nearly baby time for some. It just shows that most of the time if you just keep going things do improve even if it feels so unlikely at the time.

@athers666 what was baby's weight at ur last scan? Mine was 5lb 13 at 36 weeks, they thought he was gonna be big but not. But now I can't help thinking is he too small what if he hasn't grown at the next scan?! 😩 X

Athers666 · 05/12/2018 13:31

Wow! Could be any time then. Had you suspected it would be early? (I'm clutching at straws to hope mine is early!)
