Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Its actually an old Germanic name. Or you may find the character in some of Wagner's opera stuff. Or born free. I just love the name so much. Since I was a little girl

Thanks Nappyaddict

missvicki · 05/02/2008 17:05

we've choosen Kieran Andrew if we have a boy, but very undecided about girls names.

I like Amelia-Jayne but DH likes Charllote (not sure of spelling). We have also got a few maybe's like Bethnany, or Paige. Another name i really like is Rhiannon, as i knew a girl at school called that, but would worry that i would always think of her if i called my own daughter that!

nappyaddict · 05/02/2008 17:08

lucienne is the feminine version of lucien isn't it?

ThePFJ · 05/02/2008 17:16

It's Charlotte, and thats a lovely name. I like Bethany too. My friend's sister named her baby Amelia and she's absolutely lovely

Good luck picking a girls name MissVicki.

sweetkitty · 05/02/2008 17:26

Didn't know there was a female version of Lucien it is quite nice but again doesn't wow me (sorry MNer whovere you are) I think I am looking for too much, I like a lot of names but not enough to call my baby them IYSWIM

nappyaddict · 07/02/2008 12:01

i like lilac for a girl and have just been intoduced to unisex name blue. not sure how i feel about that one though.

accessorizemybaublessanta · 07/02/2008 12:09

Sweet kitty, we called ds2 Elliot and I must say I've gone off it We all call him Eli (pron. Ellie!). DS1 is Fraser and I still love it! I was never sure about Elliot, so I think you've got to love it from the outset and not be persuaded. I still think Elliot is a nice name but it's not easy to say iyswim.
I'm thinking Gabriel for db3 assuming it's another boy! I shall trawl here for girl's names later.

lollipopmother · 07/02/2008 15:19

I have read every single name in this thread and I still can't say that I have any inspiration. I always thought my first child would be called Sebastian or Elizabeth, but now it's actually going to happen we've dropped Sebastian even though my partner quite liked it.

All I've got is Elizabeth (Lizzie) or Charlotte (Lottie) at a push, and for a boy it's Joseph, although I really like Dexter (but a bit put off as he's a conciencious (sp!) murderer in that new tv program! )

There are some other names I like but I just don't get that spark - I like Holly, Scarlet, Poppy, and I absolutely adore Holly-Blue but it's a friend of the family's name so I can't take that.

nappyaddict · 07/02/2008 17:57
