Anyone else overdue and in need of a rant

Argh!

I am 41+2 today with dC2, Dc1 was born 41+3 so it looks as though my second is going to be later than my first as I don't feel like I am anywhere near labour even though I am ready to pop!

I am mahoosive and Soo uncomfortable.

Anyone else want to join me in this horrible limbo land!

Yes it went perfectly :) well I say that, I actually was in hospital that night ready to be induced for reduced movements, and 13 days late. Pessary in pot ready to go and doctor waiting, something didn't feel right and I walked out.

...contractions started on the way home!

Laboured on my sofa from 9pm until 630am, got in birth pool at 630 and baby out by 655am in 1 push...but he was my second. A lovely 9lb8oz little boy.

Hoping you all get the births you are looking for too!

Congratulations @namechange- we had our babies on the same day! Mine wasn’t quite the way I planned- category A EMCS at 2am as the cord was wrapped around her neck twice, and now waiting for a plastics opinion as my cannula tissued when they were giving me anaesthetic which can cause tissue necrosis. So a bit shellshocked all in all but the main thing is we are both okay! I hope everyone gets the births they are hoping for
