Not heart beat at 7 weeks and 2 days

Hi, I had a scan at 7 weeks and 2 days on Saturday. The ultra sound scan dated me at 6 weeks and 4 days and said there was no heart beat. I am really worried now that the babies stopped growing at 6 weeks 4days. I am certain of the date of my LMP but not sure when I ovulated/ conceived so I suppose this could account for the a few days. Has anyone got any experience of this? Do I need to prepare myself for the worst?
I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks

Hi all, I had a missed miscarriage in March. I am now pregnant again 5 weeks today, instead of feeling over the moon i am terrified of it happening again. I am convinced I’ll go to my scan and they’ll be no heartbeat. I am feeling exhausted sore boobs but I had all of that last time. I know it’s just a matter of waiting but it is so hard

I’m in the same boat, I had two MMCs last year, I’ll be seven weeks tomorrow. It’s so nerve wracking..

Fingers crossed for us both 🤞

Try not to panic. I had an early ,miscarriage with my second, then a normal pregnancy next time.
This is the one drawback of early testing. With my first, you could only get a test at 10 weeks. Many women miscarried before then and didn't even realise.

Everything crossed all is okay.

I had a mmc with my first pregnancy. My second resulted in DS.
Good luck. It's understandable you're anxious. Wishing you all the best.

I'm so sorry for your loss OP, but congratulations on your new pregnancy.
I had a miscarriage in my early twenties and when I subsequently got pregnant again in my early 30s it was all I could think about, the worry was so intense. I assumed it had happened once so would happen again. However I went on have a healthy baby, and the odds are in your favour that the same will be true of you. With every day that the pregnancy progresses the odds get better.
In truth no one will be able to stop you from worrying, but just try to take each day at a time, that's all you can do. Post here to get the worries off your chest if it helps, plenty of us will understand. Thinking of you and crossing my fingers for a healthy and uneventful pregnancy.

I posted on this the first time because I'd had a MMC. I now have 2 DC but found the early weeks (and months!) stressful because I could never relax about it. I was always checking for signs of blood etc.

It's really hard and people who haven't had a MC can't understand how anxious you are about every sign and symptom but try not to worry too much. Easier said than done I know.

Lots of luck to you op Thanks

Thanks it's so hard. I was ok until today and today I'm having a meltdown. I'm convincing myself it's going to happen again. I feel too scared to go to my doctors incase it all happens again.
