Just wanting some reassurance really. Got my dating scan tomorrow but just wanted to hear some successful stories of pregnancy after miscarriage. I've fallen pregnant again after losing baby in Dec

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow, try not to worry.

I had a miscarriage last May and was delighted to get pregnant again in July. Currently 34 weeks with a foot firmly in my ribs whilst I sit on the sofa! X

Markygirl1995 · 19/02/2018 18:04

It's not easy at all especially when everyone else I know is getting pregnant it feels like a fight to make sure you have a successful pregnancy! 🙈

I had a MMC at 12 weeks in July. Am currently 20 weeks pregnant, due in July. Just had my scan this morning, everything was fine.
I am still a little wary but it does get easier as time goes on. Good luck Flowers

@mossyroundhill thank you all the best for your pregnancy journey

DS2 is a year old next month & was after 2 chemicals & one MC.

Good luck for tomorrow.

I had two early miscarriages (5&7weeks) then had a totally problem free pregnancy. I think i was just unlucky. I did manage to believe it once i'd had the 12 week scan, and felt better still after 20 weeks, but i'll never be able to celebrate a BFP properly again sadly. Hope all goes well for your scan!

Markygirl1995 · 19/02/2018 18:16

@doleritedinosaur what is a chemical pregnancy if you don't mind me asking?

@lightoflaluna I know the feeling of getting a positive it's as the same as the first when you lose that baby especially! Hope you're okay

Had 2 miscarriages in early 2016, conceived again that year and now have a beautifully cheeky 9 month old son. Best of luck with your pregnancy xx

Markygirl1995 · 19/02/2018 18:17

@Whippetmamma thank you just want to get over the first trimester!

I had a MC and went on to have two kids within three years. Both pregnancies smooth and kids healthy. Good luck xxx

Markygirl1995 · 19/02/2018 18:25

@Talith thank you 😊 happy to hear that you went on to have 2 successful pregnancies

We had a MC in June last year and I'm now 26 weeks pregnant. We've both been very anxious all the way through which has put a real strain on our relationship.

My baby is healthy and growing perfectly, he's kicking right now. I wish I'd been able to be more relaxed throughout.

Good luck!!

Ekphrasis · 19/02/2018 18:43

Congratulations!

Yes I had two mc and a chemical last year, I'm now 6 months pregnant with my second child. I didn't have any issues conceiving number 1 so it was quite a shock and I found early pregnancy very hard as I didn't trust my body or believe the pregnancy.

There's a thread for those of us who are pregnant post mc if you feel confident enough to join us. Lots of support through the anxious times.

MsJuniper · 19/02/2018 18:44

I had 6mc over 3 years but am currently 33+6. The anxiety is so hard but I am starting to believe it might happen.

HotCrossBunFight · 19/02/2018 18:44

My pregnancy after a missed miscarriage found at 12 weeks turned out to be twins who are now nearly 6 months old.

Reader1984 · 19/02/2018 18:46

I had a miscarriage in July, and am now 9 weeks pregnant. Although I won't believe it until the scan...

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 19/02/2018 18:51

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and 2 months later was pregnant again with my healthy, happy, gorgeous toddler Flowers

Markygirl1995 · 19/02/2018 18:51

@Ekphrasis what is a chemical pregnancy if you don't mind me asking?

@magpiemay congratulations and thank you I'm sure you'll both have a sweet and healthy baby!

@MsJuniper thanks and congratulations I'm sure all will go fine!

@HotCrossBunFight I was thinking what if that would happen to me as triplets run in my partners family lol

@Reader1984 what I find hard is getting over the first trimester, confirming tomorrow whether I'm actually pregnant but tests confirm I am so why am I worrying lol and miscarrying again finding blood that would make me lose all hope

I had 2 miscarriages before this pregnancy - one missed and picked up at 9 weeks, another happened naturally at 6 weeks. I’m now 32+3 and all is seemingly well.

The dating scan is petrifying. Distractions this evening and deep breaths when you’re lying on the bed at the hospital. I wish you all the best and really hope all goes well for you tomorrow x

Pashazade · 19/02/2018 18:54

I miscarried at 9 weeks and fell pregnant again within a month. All went swimmingly. My six year old is sat next to me on the sofa. Don't worry. They do happen but they aren't a sign that it will never happen.

Pashazade · 19/02/2018 18:55

I mean that miscarrying is not a sign that getting pregnant and carrying to term will never happen!

Markygirl1995 · 19/02/2018 18:56

@emvy how far gone did you find out you was in your dating scan? My only worry is if they says there's nothing there 🙈 pregnancy test confirms I am but seeing it will prove a lot

Unihorn · 19/02/2018 18:59

I miscarried at 8 weeks, and my now 15 month old daughter is currently snoozing away next to me; she was born a year and a week.after my miscarriage.

I'm also 7 months pregnant Smile
