Just wanting some reassurance really. Got my dating scan tomorrow but just wanted to hear some successful stories of pregnancy after miscarriage. I've fallen pregnant again after losing baby in Dec

I've now got two wonderful (if slightly hyperactive Grin) DCs after a MMC about 7 years ago.

So many of my 'mum friends' have had MCs.

It's very common (although very heartbreaking) to have a MC but in the vast majority of cases it doesn't mean it's not going to happen for you.

@Thewindsofchange yes very aware we had a miscarriage in December and just found we're pregnant again so all I can do is hope and prey all will be okay

I had two miscarriages, but now have two healthy girls (3y and 5m). In both instances had early scans for reassurance. Congratulations and all the best for the rest of your pregnancy xx

My DH was just such a baby, mil had another baby after him as well, both healthy.

Lovely news Markygirl1995 congratulations Flowers

Markygirl1995 · 20/02/2018 20:19

@Ikabod do you think if I got really paranoid and if spoke to my doctor they'd offer reassurance scans only if really required??

@Desperatelyseekingsun @AnUtterIdiot thank you for sharing your stories I'm glad you're both happy now 😁

@StorminaBcup thank you 🙃

@Markygirl1995 we went private for both of the scans (about £150), which is a lot but I can't tell you the relief of seeing that little heart fluttering in the screen.

Markygirl1995 · 20/02/2018 20:32

@Ikabod that's what I was looking into earlier for after 12 weeks scan I've seen a few woman say they worry around 16 weeks

So sorry for your loss, I had 2 missed miscarriages at 8-9 weeks one natural and one IVF and had a baby boy in January. I wish you all the best for the pregnancy. I know after a loss things are never the same Thanks
