Just curious what your worst pregnancy symptom was. Thanks.

The anxiety of something going wrong.

Minkies13 · 01/02/2018 12:06

I'm only 11 weeks now, but so far it has been the nausea and night sweating.

Oh and the incredibly painful cramping after orgasms- even woke up to cramping after having a sex dream. So unfair.

MsP0b · 01/02/2018 12:49

Nausea week 5-17, spectacular constipation in the middle, PGP at the end.

ghostbusters · 01/02/2018 13:18

@girlwiththearabstrap not just you with the nipples. Made breastfeeding interesting! My midwife thought I had Raynauds as sometimes the pain came after feeding. Do your nipples go white when the pain starts?

#2 was worse symptom wise. PGP from 9 weeks and I got rib flare pain from about 20 weeks. Everything tasted too sweet, even toothpaste! I was 'glad' to deliver at 34 weeks to stop all the pregnancy misery...

The worst was probably pre-eclampsia due to the danger it presents. Symptoms (apart from the way its diagnosed through BP and wee tests) were a swollen face and swollen tingling hands. Except I did not notice the swollen face until I saw photos afterwards.

Leg cramps in the middle of the night oh the absolute agony

Kidsandfarmers · 01/02/2018 16:02

Prenatal anxiety, calf cramps and exhaustion 👎

Uhohmummy · 01/02/2018 16:27

First trimester - sickness
Last trimester - heartburn and insomnia
(Second trimester was a dream!)

butterybean · 01/02/2018 19:36

Bone crushing exhaustion
Constant heartburn from day 1
Severe depression
Major food and cooking aversion (unfortunate, seeing as I'm a self employed caterer)
Constant nausea with no sickness to relieve it
Raging, insatiable horniness

Despite loving DS and loving being a mum I am too traumatised to do it again.

Lucydean22 · 01/02/2018 19:40

Definitely sickness I mean I'm in my third trimester now and sometimes every now and then I get the nausea and I am sick in the mornings like I'll have toast sometimes and I will throw it back up and I'm just really 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's always the worst when I have breakfast and I'm hungry but then end up throwing it back up or if I'm getting ready for work or to go out and I feel the sickness creeping it up I try and keep it down but as soon as i am ready that is when the sickness takes the best of me and I throw up and my makeup is all over the place so I then have to redo my makeup which makes me late for wherever I was meant to be going to 🙃😂🙈

thepatchworkcat · 01/02/2018 19:45

The sickness/nausea and the tiredness! Sooo tired!

whereareyousleep · 01/02/2018 19:46

SPD
Awful heartburn
Restless legs
All combine to equal very little sleep. 6 weeks to go!!

NoParticularPattern · 01/02/2018 19:50

The heartburn and inability to bend over without feeling like whatever you’ve just eaten might just squirt straight back out again. The heartburn that comes on literally seconds after you’ve eaten- no matter what it was!! I think I have shares in rennies!!!

Timemachinetoast · 01/02/2018 19:53

First trimester tiredness.
Have never felt tiredness like it and kept falling asleep at work!

YoloThankfully · 01/02/2018 19:53

PUPPS and awful burning nipples when they're cold Sad

4 months to go

NewMama12 · 01/02/2018 19:56

Restless legs - there were nights where it felt like my legs were crawling all over. Was horrible!

Take10 · 01/02/2018 20:14

Heartburn/ acid reflux / sickness/( gerd )is the worst symptom, closely followed by the god dam pregnancy itch ! What is that about. 36 weeks and on countdown to birth

HoarseMackerel · 01/02/2018 20:19

Sickness and everything tasting weird for the full term.
Also, on fire nipples in any sort of cool breeze! It started when I was on a family day out and the pain was excruciating. I warmed them under a hand dryer! Sad

Thishatisnotmine · 02/02/2018 08:21

Pregnancy triggered migraines from 9 weeks with both. Medication that made me feel slightly less rubbish than the migraines was the only option. And sciatica, especially with dd2. Owwwww!

Ekphrasis · 02/02/2018 10:50

Vulval varicose veins at around 14 weeks Angry

Thishatisnotmine · 02/02/2018 11:40

ekphrasis I had forgotten about them! Or blocked them from my memory! Pregnancy is horrible!

Anatidae · 02/02/2018 11:54

That would be the vomiting multiple times a day for nine months.

petalsinthegarden · 02/02/2018 12:00

The rib pain!! Oh, the rib pain!

whichwayisout · 02/02/2018 12:04

Heartburn, spd, extra hormones.

BigBaboonBum · 02/02/2018 12:12

Hyperemisis with my first was absolutely miserable, followed by radiating headaches, crippling pelvic pain and then heartburn that could melt your insides
