Just got my bfp today I'm 4 weeks on Thursday going from 1st day of last period ☺️ this is baby #1 and 2nd pregnancy after first ended in mc

I'm 21 years old and been with my partner 3 years and this is all new to me! Would love to meet some other mummies to be in first pregnancy 💞

My best friend is 15 weeks and I'm not 4 yet. I can't tell her but want to. Worst of all I work with her too!
Constantly feeling like I'm doing sit ups but defo not, it's v uncomfortable! Also my husband's perfume, which he's worn for years nearly made me sick this morning much to his amusement 😭

No sore boobs or back...
Still need to wait a few more days to test again. Want to be excited but restraining!

Hi hope you don’t mind me joining! Got my 5th BFP tonight. I had to be 100% sure! Think I’m around 5 weeks but not sure how to work it out probably, was a big shock for us. Does anyone know if I can drink as much decaf tea as I like? TIA x

Found out today, very tentative as had a mmc at 4 +5 in December and a little worried as I am 4+2 as we speak. Due 22/09 by the calculations of my app. Good look for everyone x

Morning all! Lovely to see a few familiar names from TTC threads!

BFP this morning after a couple of squinters yesterday. Early days but v excited, due 28/09. Midwife appt 1 Feb, only DH and I right now but wondering about telling DP's at that point, all being well.

Congrats one and all x

I'm due on the 9th September with my first and very excited (and a little bit terrified)... can't believe how tired I've been and how sore my boobs are already! This baby was a definite surprise, so had to give up alcohol, the odd cigarette, caffeine and my antidepressants all at once - it was rough last week but am feeling much better now :)

Kirst96 · 16/01/2018 11:29

Is anyone else booked in or been for an early scan? We have ours on Thursday as had a very light bleed! Will be 7 weeks, not sure what to expect and feeling exited and anxious at the same time

GnTplease · 17/01/2018 13:06

@Kirst96 I really want one just because it seems like SO long to wait till 12 weeks to see the little bean! So tempted to book one at 8 weeks or so but my other half doesn't really get it and just thinks we should wait "like everyone else" 🙈 he is so laid back and I'm so impatient!

MoDip · 17/01/2018 13:32

@GandTplease and @Kirst96 I feel the same, keen to book in around 8 weeks. My first midwife appointment isn’t even until 9 weeks. Think I will have lost my marbles waiting by then! Husband thinks it’s silly x

GnTplease · 17/01/2018 13:47

@MoDip it makes the 2ww seem like nothing 😂

Kirst96 · 17/01/2018 14:27

@GnTplease @MoDip think it's a good to get booked if you can. I know there's not a lot to see at 7 weeks but ours is more of a check everything is okay scan. Every day seems to feel like a week atm 😬

GnTplease · 17/01/2018 14:31

@Kirst96 @MoDip my only reservation is that if there is something wrong...I think I'd rather be in the hands of actual doctors? The websites I've looked at seem quite "fluffy" so I'm just hesitant about that side of it. Not sure if I'm making any sense here!

MoDip · 17/01/2018 16:21

@GandTplease and @Kirst96 I suppose if something’s wrong it doesn’t really matter where you are though! I didn’t really notice the 2 week wait, in fact I tested 9 days after I ovulated and it was positive so it went fast! Now it feels like a never ending stretch ahead x

MoDip · 17/01/2018 16:25

Anyone around the 4/5 week mark- what symptoms do you have? I’m exhausted!

MissSophieB397 · 17/01/2018 18:40

@MoDip I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and always in bed by 9 but I have broken up sleep! Just constantly got back ache and tired during the day but I'm in full time work so never get my needed naps!

@MoDip @MissSophieB397 I'm the same, absolutely shattered by time I get home from work so early nights but not sleeping brilliantly. Other than that some intermittent tummy cramps, varying degrees of sore boobs and feeling a bit queasy especially if I'm hungry. Nothing major. I did another test this morning and it was waaaaay darker than my first ones so that's reassuring!

jsc26 · 17/01/2018 19:22

I've had cramps since 6/7dpo and sickness since 8... cramping so much I can't cope with it... but I don't think it's bad news just all too much for me, no spotting at all. Seeing the doctor in the morning so will see what they say. Can't keep my eyes open past 11am!
We will get through it! x

MoDip · 17/01/2018 19:49

Haha glad it’s not just me heading to bed early, yet waking up through the night! My job involves a lot of driving and It’s been a struggle! No sickness yet but very sore boobs and emotional! Nearly cried before lunch yesterday, I was just hungry!

Kirst96 · 17/01/2018 21:53

@GnTplease we're actually having ours at the hospital but I know what you mean we looked into go private and does seem like a lot of money for not the real deal sort of thing. If they did find anything I'm sure they would tell you to go straight to the hospital for a second opinion. But I'm sure everything would be fine :)
