Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

Oh yes head down and back to my belly and kicking the scanner. I've a very active baby. I'm pretty sure there will nothing untoward but just better to get checked.

Cant believe I've got another 6-8 weeks to go - I think I look enormous - mind you, don't have any pregnant mothers to compare to and this is pregnancy no. 4!
Just glanced at the Feb thread and feeling envious that they are nearing the end of it all x Just want to meet my little one now and have her safely here (and hopefully be able to breathe again!)

@Lavenderdays if I feel like it's a long way ahead (like every other day!) I peek at the July/august baby threads....now they really do have ages...naughty Pottery but always makes me feel much better

Hi Mugglenet. Can't deny that I am fed up. We have a similar due date although dd2 came along two weeks early so hoping for the same again! This is pregnancy no. 4 for me (but lost baby no. 3 - a little boy at 22 weeks three years ago). At the grand old age of just shy of 44 when little one is born, this will be my last pregnancy whichever way it turns out. In my head I am trying to convince myself that I am still in my 20's and in the larger scheme of things, I'm not doing too badly really.
And Pottery...yes, I have been naughty too, peeking on the July/August threads etc...can't bare the nausea discussions though...it so takes me back to that place...

You will get there. Having a loss especially so late on is difficult in itself. This will be all worth it when you have this baby in your arms. Lie and down and rest when you need to or when you can. This feeling won't last forever. Please remember to be kind to yourself...and it's ok to moan in tri 3. It's tough working growing another human being. X

I am also feeling big, uncomfortable and fed up! But on the plus side we bought a family car to fit all the kids in today, so that's a big tick off the list!

Hello everyone, I stared a thread about second and subsequent labours so have added the link below if anyone interested/bored Grin

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/childbirth/3153822-Are-second-third-labours-faster

(they are not tales of woe, a lot of positive and moving accounts, and I took its smart not to hang around if you've birthed before from it, as second babies usually always come a lot faster)

My second was quicker (1st was 24 hours, 2nd was 4.5 hours). It hurt a lot though!
I am so overwhelmed and tearful at the moment. New house, car and baby at once is too much. My youngest has chicken pox and I'm still at work. My braces came off yesterday and I don't like the result. Gutted. And I am in a competition that requires me to be out until 10 tonight.

Brilliant thread I just found on the 'pushing' stage of labour. I listened to my midwifes all those years ago and waited to push when I was told and had no tearing at all like many of these women

@blinkineckmum sorry to hear your so overwhelmed, it must be all compounded by the fact you are still working. It does sound like you really need some you time. When are you due?

Due end of March but the other 2 were early so expecting the beginning. Neither kids at school yet, so though I can't wait to finish work, I won't get any 'me time' after!

Evening all! I'm due 17th march! Second pregnancy with baby boy #2! How's everyone feeling in the last push towards the end? X

Hello @TheMrs04, definitely thinking about the last push that's for sure now!

Your due a couple of days before my last daughters 8th birthday, March babies are the best Smile. My next daughter is due the 7th.

How are you doing and feeling generally? Are you working? I'm thankfully not but there are many on this thread still trucking on.

January is a funny month really, glad we are moving into Feb now with this awesome full moon seeing us into the next month.

Farewell January 2018! Bring on the snowdrops and the spring!

I'm not working! I actually started my work leave second week in January so my mat leave doesn't start till the 3rd week in February! Generally doing good I think!! DS#1 has the dreaded cold 😩 I still have lots to do 🙈 I haven't even thought about my hospital bag yet 😬 which I really ought to do as ds1 came three weeks early!

My niece is a march baby and my ds1 is an April baby!! Definitely love spring babies!

I'm due the same day as you @TheMrs04. I started panicking about not having a bag ready this week after having some period pain type aching and thinking I need to be prepaid in case of early labour. So yesterday I put baby's bag together and made a list for mine and dh's, which I will pack this week.

TheMrs04 · 31/01/2018 21:40

This weekend is going to be me packing the bags! I have the in laws visiting so they can entertain ds whilst I run round like a headless chicken 🙈

With my first I had all the bags packed by 30 weeks! This time round the times has just flown by!!
In a way I'm hoping he will be early as my stepdad is home from working abroad for three weeks as of the 15th Feb and he missed out on both the other kids being born and not meeting them till they were almost 6 months old!

@teabagfreak it's finally here! I think we've all been kind of waiting for February since we got our positive tests and we have made it.

Good vibes and positive thinking this month to all. I'll try and take my own advice but no promises I don't spend half of this month hiding under a duvet and watching Grace and Frankie without having brushed my hair and eating cheese Hmm

So relieved to be able to say...the baby is due next month! Have been told I have a big bump (by both friends and random strangers) but apparently it is within normal range...now feel more justified in having a large bump...because the baby is due next month!

Report
TheMrs04 · 01/02/2018 15:17

So I've just got back from midwife who says bump is measuring 2 weeks ahead! 🙈 people have said my bump has gotten bigger the last 2 weeks!! I just feel I've rounded out! 😂 safe to say I'm glad to say next month this baby will be here! This year is flying by already!!

It's funny how other people often say...hasn't the time gone quick (in relation to my pregnancy) urm no, not for me it hasn't (and I usually hate wishing time away).

Can't believe it is only a month away! I started packing my hospital bags today and realised I don't have a jacket for the baby to come home in! Will March babies need to have a little coat/jacket incase it's chilly or are blankets enough?

Report
Potteryprincess30 · 02/02/2018 08:08

@sammy891 I would say definatly an all in one soft snow suit type thing. March can be pretty cold, especially early morning
