Will try and keep short.
I'm 24+1 with dc2. Had a very straightforward and good pregnancy up till now.
Night before last I start getting very crampy period pains, the type where you know your period is imminent. I didn't stress and put it down to growing pains. I guess the pains may have continued into the night as I kept dreaming I was in labour.
I felt fine yesterday all day, then at bedtime i started to feel sick. Went to bed and woke at 2am where I then was heaving over the toilet for over 2 hours. No sick, no cramps, just an overwhelming sense of nausea.
Today I didn't get out of bed till 2pm. I have no energy and I am boiling although I have no temperature. I have a heat rash all over my chest.
I have a dull ache in my bum and legs and a bit in my back but nothing terrible.
On top of this the baby is going absolutely crazy, and has since last night. There has been no let up. You can see limbs sticking out all over, not just the odd kick in one spot.
Dh is very laid back all the time and has paid absolutely no interest. In fact he has just taken dc1 out to "give me a break" when I suggested I wasn't sure whether to call hospital.
We live 45 mins away from the hospital and I'm sure this is what's putting him off, as he'll feel like I have a bug and wasting everyone's time.
Can I get opinions?
I genuinely really don't want to leave the house if I don't have to but I don't know if these things are anything to worry about.

Thanks

I'd definitely phone the hospital. You're supposed to get any change of movements checked, even if it's more rather than reduced. Please get checked. It's worth the hassle!

ClareB83 · 01/01/2018 15:49

Yes this sounds quite dramatic. Call the hospital.

gottachangethename1 · 01/01/2018 15:49

I’m thinking UTI possibly, had very similar issue at 24 weeks (many years ago). Either way get it checked.

BunloafAndCrumpets · 01/01/2018 15:50

Get checked now, change in movements plus rash in themselves need looking at never mind all the other stuff.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 01/01/2018 15:51

Def call the hospital, any change in movements should be checked out. Hope you feel better soon.

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 01/01/2018 16:15

Get checked out

Jasminejot · 01/01/2018 16:17

Get checked out, without a doubt. Sooner rather than later.

Chaosofcalm · 01/01/2018 16:17

Definitely ring the hospital and ask them what they suggest you do.

TammySwansonTwo · 01/01/2018 16:18

I hope you've already called the hospital but if not, please do. Going in when I "just didn't feel right" saved my twins' lives, no doubt about it. Increases in movement need checking just as much as decreases, and urgently. Please call them right this second and explain.

MadisonAvenue · 01/01/2018 16:20

Please get checked out.

Mamamagellanic · 01/01/2018 16:23

I didn't feel right at 25 weeks. I left it for a few hours until I asked a forum (like this one) what to do. I eventually got to the hospital (10 hours after it started) and was in labour. Too far on to stop it.

This isn't a story to scare you, our symptoms were different, but I left it too late. Go to the hospital.

LuluJakey1 · 01/01/2018 16:26

Ring the hospital. Sounds like you might have an infection or virus.

shakeyourcaboose · 01/01/2018 16:29

The message is always that hospital would rather check you out and send you home as all ok rather than having an emergency admission. Please call hospital.

TammySwansonTwo · 01/01/2018 18:49

How are you doing OP? I really hope you're at the hospital now. I've been really worrying about you since I saw this. I ignored so much stuff when I was pregnant as I didn't want to be a bother - my midwife sending me in and being insistent is the only reason I went in that time and thank goodness, so I'm trying to do the same for you. They will be very glad you went, whether there's something that needs attention or whether they can reassure you - please don't put it off.

KatnissMellark · 01/01/2018 18:52

Hope you're ok op

LuchiMangsho · 01/01/2018 18:59

As the mother of a 26 weeker GO TO HOSPITAL. It may be nothing but if it is something there are things they need to do for you NOW (steroids and medication to stall labour).

Thirdshepherdfromtheleft · 01/01/2018 19:03

Could just be a virus but I agree with all other posters, always best to get it checked out, you won't relax until you do.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 01/01/2018 19:05

Definitely go to hospital... you’re not wasting anyone’s time.

Frustrationqueen · 01/01/2018 19:06

Hope you're ok and managed to get yourself checked out

Rachie1986 · 01/01/2018 19:09

Hope you're ok x

WhyTheHeckMe · 01/01/2018 21:44

Thanks so much for the advice, I've slept all afternoon but woken feeling just as rotten. Currently on hold to the Maternity Assessment Unit to see what they want to do. I'll keep you updated.

Hope all ok!

On my way to hospital now. Feel like a time waster and dh is less than happy

LuluJakey1 · 01/01/2018 22:32

He needs to be more sympathetic and supportive. Hope you are ok.

Solasum · 01/01/2018 22:34

Hopefully it is nothing, but if it is something and you didn’t go, you would never forgive yourselves. Your DH needs to bear that in mind.

Fingers crossed All is ok!
