Food and drinks! DS1 was a surprise labour and I went wild sending DH in search of a drink and was hugely pissed off when he returned with a Capri Sun! I'm armed with several bottles of lucozade sport, a pack of mars bars and two pot noodles as I was starving afterwards and all that was available was some soggy toast with 'spread'.

Right... I looked up the postpartum witchazel pads I used. They were called Tucks. I'm actually in Australia and bought them from the U.K. online (there may such a thing here now, but not 7 years ago).

They were a biggish round tub with a screw lid. Technically I guess you could pour liquid witchazel onto any pad, but these were convenient.

Just be careful they don't have any extra 'stinging' ingredients, or are made just for faces rather than sensitive pink bits. I think the witchazel has anti inflammatory and antiseptic qualities, which is handy.

Hopefully they've got even better ones now. Maybe with aloe vera, or in a shape especially for after birth.

Good luck with it, sounds like you're ready to go!
