First baby, what week did you have them?

I know that very few go on their due dates and that as a first time Mum you’re more likely to be overdue ... But I’m curious to hear, when did you go into labour?

35+6, no reason that they could work out but baby just decided to arrive early!

Dc2 34+5

Waters broke day before due date, gave birth day after due date.

Went into labour on due date but was in labour 36hrs

My 1st was 29+2 but my other 3 were 38+2 39+3 and exactly 39 weeks

37 +2 for both DC. Both times I was in complete denial even when in active labour.

DC1 - 40 weeks exactly.
DC2 - 40+4.

I was induced at 40+14 and delivered at 40+15. Saying that, I think the dating scan overestimated my due date by at least a week so I was probably only 41 weeks. Also my DD was breech at my 41 week check so that didn't help me!

40 weeks exactly for 2nd

With my first, my waters broke at 1am on the due date and my dd was born at just after midday on her due date. My second was ten days late.

Twins - induced at 41 weeks but finally delivered by CS as they showed no interest in being born. I am 5 ft tall and was told I'd be lucky if I got them to 34 weeks as I was so small. By the time they were born I was 60 inches tall and 60 inches round, a true weeble :D

Expecting to be induced near 42.

Induced at 42 weeks - born at 42+1

I was tempted to go longer but in our area they won't let you into the midwifery led unit after 42 weeks.

Ds1 - 42+1
Ds2 - 41 + 5
Ds3 - 41+6

34+6 - weighing 6lb 10oz

37. Due to pre-eclampsia.

Dc1 = 42+3
Dc2 =42+2
Dc3 = 42

By the time we got to dc3 I knew mine took longer to mature. All just over 8lb. Average @ 40 is no more or less a predictor than average height is of their height.
