38 weeks and i feel like period is about to start. Has got worse as day has gone on. What is this?

alot of pressure today. Very uncomfortable. Really does feel like i am about to come on. Is this just normal labour prep?

35 weeks. I feel so much further on than that but I know the dates are spot on.

Baby arrived this morning! 2 weeks early so quite unexpected!
So yeah, if those cramps develop at all, it might well be the real deal for you Jelly

Ha legend i know exactly what you mean....i took roll on deo everywhere with me in the end although i am sure it was me paranoid! Isnt pregnancy lovely!! Dont notice it now at 38+3 but i guess it doesnt mean its not still there......(paranoia seeping back in)

Btw got excited last night having what i believe was a contraction for about 60 secs (painful) but then back to braxtons/period pains from then on i guess hes still getting ready.....??

Mine got really sore yesterday but stopped again. That's 3 times it's happened now. Not that I'm bitter or anything. This waiting for a baby thing is annoying.

Had 38 week appointment this morn and only 3/5 engaged. Argh. I must be looking for symptoms. 38+4 now.

Ah no! It's so frustrating isn't it? I've got my 38 week appointment tomorrow & I will be 34 + 4. The pains have eased slightly over the last few days but he does feel so low, so I'm hoping that he is at least engaged slightly! Have an awful cold too, which I had just before I went into labour with DS1 so hoping that is a sign but think I might just be desperate now!

That should have been 38 + 4, not 34 + 4!
