Hi,
I'm 19, 24 weeks pregnant and unemployed. I currently get universal credit. I was wondering if anyone got income support and could tell me how much I would be getting? So I know if it's worth it to make the switch on benefits or not

SerfTerf · 27/08/2017 16:52

I think it's a spoof anyway pencils.

PencilsInSpace · 27/08/2017 17:06

What, the OP? Looks like a simple benefit query to me Confused

SerfTerf · 27/08/2017 17:14

You think?

PencilsInSpace · 27/08/2017 17:20

Wow. I hope all the mother's digging out other mother's on this thread feel super proud of themselves.
I've seen some lovely supportive threads on here from other women who build other women up and help them and then there's ones like this. Crawl over to AIBU with the rest of your crowd.

So, in reference to the OP, and not anything else in this thread, @princessmumy, get in touch with your local Citizens Advice office. They should be able to give you lots of advice on benefits and the like. Unfortunately, once you are on Universal Credit, you will be stuck with it, but the CA may be able to tell you what else you are entitled to.

Here's the website for England www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ You should be able to find your local office. Good luck.
