Are pregnancy pillows worth it?

Most mornings I wake up with a really sore back. I'm trying to sleep on my side and, prior to getting pregnant, would have said I'm a side sleeper but I always seem to roll onto my back in the night.
Would a pregnancy pillow help with the back ache? Would it stop me rolling onto my side? They seem pretty pricey so I want to know they're worth it before I fork out money!

I never bothered personally. I didn't see the need at all.

glad i didn't bother. i found hugging a duvet much nicer as more malleable.

i did buy though an L shaped 'nursing pillow' from john lewis which is LOVELY. baby sits in it, I sit in it, i use it for its advertised purpose and all sorts. brilliant! £25 we'll spent.

I had one. I named it Wayne. Bloody love Wayne. Ive still got him and sometimes sleet with him, 9 years later!

Haha maybe I'll have to name mine! It's bright pink though so not sure what would fit. Thanks for the suggestions though, it was definitely worth £20 Smile

Definitely worth it! I have the log shaped one (called body pillows sometimes), in fact we all have one (me, OH and DD!), so much better than faffing about with lots of pillows between knees, under bump, hugged to chest etc. Tempted to get a U-shaped one now but don't think we'd have any room in the bed if I did!
