I'm 23 weeks pregnant and my daughter has just turned 3 and is very curious.

She has asked me this twice in the last day and I just don't know what to say! Any advice?

I keep having the same conversation with DD(3.5) where she asks me:

Where was I on yours and daddy's wedding day mummy?

You weren't born yet DD

But where was I then? Was I a baby in your tummy?

No you were just an egg in mummy's tummy

An egg?! Hahahahahaha don't be silly mummy!!......... so where was I really then?

And repeat.... Grin

These children sound adorable!!!

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and my son who is 3yrs 3m hasn't shown any interest in how the baby got in there.

He did however ask me how it's coming out and because I'm having a CS I just explained that mommy was going into hospital where a doctor was going to cut my tummy and simply pull the baby out. My son's response was to ask if he could kick my belly to see if the baby fell out all by itself so I wouldn't have to get cut Grin

He is also convinced he has a baby in his tummy too and the other day he said, "mommy, my tummy doesn't feel very good" and when I asked him why he told me his baby was kicking him Grin

He does give me great back rubs though when he knows I've got back ache Grin

ANd if I tell him my tummy is hurting because baby is kicking me he comes over, talks to the bump and says, "Don't be a naughty baby, stop hurting my mommy." Grin

Kids are brilliant!!!!

Daddy planted a seed in mummy and it grew to a baby.
Where did he plant it?
All ladies have a special opening and daddy used his willy to put the seed there
Can I see the special place? No because it is private like your private places. It is between where ladies wee and where they poo.
Did you and daddy do that?
Yes
Two times?(dd and ds)....You dirty things!
Actual conversation with dd aged 3 in 1977!
She had never been told anything about her body was 'dirty' !

"Daddy has a bit that goes out between his legs, Mummy has a bit that goes in, they fit together and sometimes make a baby"
