I've told work that i am expecting, having gone back on Monday after maternity leave

I have lost count of the number of people who have thought it perfectly reasonable to ask me (or even assume) that it was unplanned. If one more person says 'was it an accident then?', i will scream!

aside from the fact it was planned, what do they want me to say? 'oh yes, totally unwanted, we're really gutted'

i might get a maternity Tshirt made that just says 'No, it wasn't an accidnet!'

When I'd had DS1 my father in law visited the house when he was 3 days old. I answered the door and his first comment was 'Ooh you're still fat' GGRRRRRRRRRR, then when I was sterilising some bottles (won't go into it but couldn't breastfeed), he said 'isn't Titty milk best for baby!' GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I wanted to MURDER him there and then.

dp gets all the time 'oh well you've already got 2 dd's so I expect you want a boy this time.

Well tbh I think secretly dp wouldn't mind a boy but as he told me the other day he really dosen't care as long as we are both healthy.

when I was 6 months pg with my ds, I bumped into a friend who I hadn't seen for years and she looked at my bump and said ooo you're not very big, are you absolutely sure theres nothing wrong, and i should go to the docs just to make sure.! cue loads of tears and worry until my next appt. I was perfect! silly cow
