Just got my BFP, worries!

Hello :)

I got my BFP on Monday on a frer test at 12DPO and 3 days from AF. Since then I've had a positive digital (Pregnant 1-2 weeks) at 13DPO and continued to test on cheapies each day and seen the line getting darker and stronger. Should I continue to do this to monitor?

My last AF was 1st April so this pregnancy would be dated at 4weeks 4 days already.

I'm absolutely petrified I'll have a chemical pregnancy (I had one back in March) and have booked a Dr's appointment but the earliest they can see me is 26th May. Will this be ok? I would be 7 weeks by then.

@owltrousers Ahhhh look at him! You must feel so relieved after having your scan. Congrats! I can't wait for my next scan! Did they give you an approx due date?

My symptoms this weekend have been in full force - sickness, moodswings, the lot!

@HannahD1991 it was such an amazing relief! bit gutted that our dates are so out but its not a problem as long as baby is doing well. The sonographer said she'd estimate 13 Jan but it will prob change after the dating scan. How about you?

We told my DH's family this weekend and they were all so shocked, we've never mentioned babies before so it was a big surprise, everyone is over the moon for us though.

Yes I've had a lot of sickness in the morning and I've completely gone off my cup of tea before work! I had to have plain water and sliced melon this morning (boring) to keep sickness at bay.

@owltrousers yeah as long as baby's ok then an extra week or 2 of waiting is nothing! They measured me at 6 weeks 3 days when I went, but does it normally change at your 12 week scan yeah? They never said about the date changing!

I'm the same, I am a tea and coffee addict but I've completely gone off tea and had to majorly reduce my coffee so I'm only having 2 or 3 cups a week as opposed to the usual 2 or 3 a day It's killing me as I'm so tired as it is! Slept for 9 hours last night and had a nap in the day and I'm still so tired. Only been in work 2 hours and it feels like it should be Friday already haha.

Aww that's lovely that everyone's over the moon for you. Do you think you'll find out the sex? I'm so undecided x

@HannahD1991 I think because I have irregular cycles they can't sure of the dates yet but said baby is measuring 6+4 (give or take 5 days) so its likely I ovulated late too. I think 12 weeks is the scan they can give you a more accurate DD.

Its terrible isn't it! I don't feel right unless I've had my tea in the morning, I'm just standing around wondering what to do with myself for the usual 10 mins I sit and enjoy my tea, haha. I'm also V tired and having to push myself to actually do things, I go to bed at 10.30pm usually and get up at 6.30am but I've been ready for bed at 8.30pm! Just got to remember the rest is important!

Nope we're definitely keeping it a surprise!
