AIBU to be worried about my baby despite good news

Hi, I had a MMC and ERPC in January, baby was estimated to have died at 5 + 6. Currently 5 + 4 with a new pregnancy, which is great, but unfortunately I have been told that my HCG and progesterone levels are low considering my LMP date. Had a scare yesterday with some brown bleeding (not much but still!). My hormone levels were tested today and the good news is that hcg has trebled since Thursday and progesterone has doubled. However they are still considered low and the doctor has put me on progesterone tablets for 3 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with low HCG and progesterone levels at this stage? Obviously I am really anxious given what happened last time and what's more, I am still bleeding a little (still brown). Could I still be miscarrying even though the HCG is increasing?

Oh Polly I will certainly hand hold, its horrible not knowing isn't it? All I can suggest is just taking it really easy and being kind to yourself. I don't know anything about levels sorry but just wanted to say I am here and thinking of you

OK it seems that I'm definitely miscarrying now. Lots of blood and cramps :( so sad

Nothing to do but wait until the morning. I have been asked to go to docs tomorrow to have a scan

Clots too but everything coming out is still brown or black. Is that a good sign?

Dark blood is a good sign - it means it's old. It's only bright red blood that is really worrying. Not saying everything is definitely okay but you have less cause to worry if it's brown. Hope you get some sleep x
