Bugaboo Bee or Babyzen Yoyo?

.... yet another buggy thread from me!

Think we have narrowed it down to these two choices. The main factor in our decision is that we live in London in a second floor flat (no lift).

The Yoyo is a better value option than the Bee, but I don't like that they have to go front-facing as soon as they grow out of the carry cot.

Which one would you choose?! Or do you have something else to suggest?

Thank you.

Thanks all. I still can't really decide! They both sound like great prams for what I need.

Am I too late to add my penny's worth? My bugaboo went really rickerty after a few months. The frame was no longer tight and the tyres wore unevenly by the time he was two. The bugaboo was also very close to the ground. Far more than my mamas and papas (or indeed any other pram I've had before). He seemed really on the same level with the exhaust fumes and as I live in a busy town it was a real concern.

Thanks FourKids. Not too late at all! I think both the Bee and Yoyo are quite close to the ground... oh dear!

@LadyPenelope3 did you ever decide between the bee and yoyo? I’m having this exact dilemma. We have the cameleon but since my little girl is now 15 months, it’s a bit bulky travelling around London. Trying to decide between bee, baby jogger City mini gt and yoyo!

Hi Peony. I chose the Bee - in the end I chose it because of the slightly better suspension and because it can be parent facing.

However... I do think the perfect combination of prams would be to have something like the Cameleon plus a Yoyo - so maybe go for that if you already have something you can off road in and/or is parent facing?! Then you have the best of both worlds!

We were considering buying the babyzen yoyo because our car boot is tiny but then I saw its carrycot and I really didn't like it. If I understood well, you need to tie the baby in the carrycot, the carrycot has a harness. I prefer not to use one on a newborn. I thought that the carrycot was also low. Did you have a go using both of them?
Maybe at the beginning you can keep the frame in the car and just take up and down the baby in the car seat or the sling (if you are not driving). The probem would be if you want to go out often and have the baby in a carrycot sleeping.
