Anyone else fed up and 38 weeks pregnant?

Hi All,

Anyone else totally fed up of being pregnant? I feel like I have no prelabour symptoms and am going to be pregnant FOREVER! In addition, I've been told that the baby is MASSIVE (from 2 ultrasounds) and this makes me more scared about going overdue. They don't induce due to size in my area.

Any other people wanting to join my moaning myrtle thread ?!

I'm due 3rd Feb :-)

How are people doing on this thread? I'm 38+1 and fed up. Been getting nauseous for the last 2 days and wondering if it could be a sign of something but that's probably wishful thinking!

Elliee2402 · 23/01/2017 13:17

Hey!
Due 2nd Feb & also sooooo fed up!
Had horrendous diarrhoea all weekend aswell which wasn't fun at all 😞
When I googled lots of things said it could be a sign of labour but I'm 99% sure it was just a stomach bug!
I have a 2 year old to run around after aswell so certainly ready to pop this one out!
How's everyone else doing? X

Christmasbaby16 · 23/01/2017 16:59

My baby was born at 38 weeks but I would have happily carried on for a few more weeks had he wanted to stay put a little longer!
Absolutely loved being pregnant! However, I do prefer having him here in 'real life' enjoy your last few days/weeks

Sparrowlegs248 · 23/01/2017 17:26

I was like that with Ds but this time, oh God I'm so fed up! Discomfort doesn't cover it!!

Backache is becoming unbearable. Feet and legs abstracting to swell. Ugh.

Elliee2402 · 23/01/2017 17:43

I'm the same! My first little girl was born at 41 weeks & didnt mind her staying in there as long as she liked but this ones taking its toll on me 😬 X

eastcoastmum2014 · 23/01/2017 17:50

I'm 38 weeks and having a Csection on thursday- thank goodness because this sucks! My hips hurt, my stomach hurts, I'm constantly tired and my boobs are leaking constantly Blush hope everyone else gets their beautiful babies sooner rather than later and the hell that is the last month of pregnancy passes quickly! Xx

NewMum17 · 23/01/2017 22:19

I too don't feel like I've had major pre-labour symptoms yet Zuki. But I'm 37+3 so maybe I have to wait a bit longer. I'm not fed up yet but I AM feeling pretty grumpy/moany which isn't the best mood to be in. I feel like there's so much on my mind all the time too..slight stress/ anxiety of becoming a mum I guess.

It's not nice they keep telling you your baby is massive, but try not to focus on that. Hopefully all of us will have our lovely babies out healthily and soon! Check this out..😂

39 weeks tomorrow and so bloody uncomfortable I could cry. I have cankles, I have sciatica and I haven't slept properly in weeks. Please baby, come out!!

Chloe09 · 23/01/2017 23:15

Amen to all the moans ladies....let me join in please!

I'm 37wks and frankly I'm over this whole pregnancy experience! I should've taken out shares in Rennie the amount I take, my SPD is awful...especially when I get up 4/5 times a night for the loo, I am grumpy, fed up and if I'm honest I don't know how my OH hasn't told me to shut up and get on with it yet! (He has been amazing throughout I should say)

When I had my DD (now 8) I remember sailing through pregnancy, loving my bump and her kicks, and didn't bat an eyelid at counting down til her due date....now if you gave me the chance to be induced tmw I'd bite your arm off!!!

only 3wks left only 3wks left

Chrystal1982 · 24/01/2017 10:01

40+1 still here 🙄 Lots of early labour signs but nothing starting yet. Seeing midwife this afternoon so will ask for another sweep, booked in for induction at 41wks (vbac) so he better get moving before then!

MiniAlphaBravo · 24/01/2017 18:42

That's exciting Chrystal fingers crossed the sweep gets things moving.

I've realized chocolate gives me heartburn. I'm gutted!

I'm 38+2 and only possible pre labour signs are some Braxton's every day now, lots of pressure low down (feels like the baby is drumming on my cervix at times 😳) and the nausea.... but fully expecting to be late again like I was with dd....hoping not though.

Sparrowlegs248 · 27/01/2017 08:14

O.m.g. Awake since just oast midnight. Typically ds slept til almost 6, I was actually willing him to wake up.

Getting a cold, awful sore throat, stuffy nose etc. Couldn't get comfy with bump, or breathe properly.

Also, in the middle of the night developed some anxiety. Most unlike me to worry about things like that but once you start (what if I'm going into labour? Omg how much is it going to hurt? I haven't written a birth plan etc)

39+1......

NewMum17 · 27/01/2017 09:06

Oh gosh I'm with you on the anxiety! The weirdest things are popping in my head..like where to move the shoe stand when baby can crawl. Haha!!

Hope you feel better soon.

I'm 38w and feeling ready but not ready! Aaaaagh!

Sparrowlegs248 · 27/01/2017 15:27

So ready to be not pregnant anymore. Not in any way ready for an extra baby........

Elliee2402 · 27/01/2017 15:44

Anyone else feeling soooooo drained?!
39+1 & I just want to sleep all day every day!
I'm still waiting for the nesting feeling to kick in & make me want to have a big spring clean because although that's exactly what I need to do it's the last thing I actually want to do! 😴😴😴

Grumpus21 · 27/01/2017 21:24

I feel your pain zuki! I'm 38 weeks today.

So so SO fed up - I can honestly say I have not enjoyed pregnancy at all, the only thing getting me through it is knowing the reward will be more than worth it! Haven't slept properly since around 13 weeks so I'm shattered all of the time.

I can't wait to have him here and I do feel guilty moaning all the time, but it's been a miserable experience! Always feel like I get compared to my friend who had her baby last year and everything was easy peasy (she likes to brag - even worse after the baby was born!

Have been getting back ache but not sure if this is down to the birthing ball I got to help my achey hips - that and Braxton Hicks which aren't pleasant!

I feel like I'm waiting to start a new job and have no idea when it will be!!

Pandabear123 · 29/01/2017 09:27

Anyone on here still need a moan? I have officially joined the 38w (38+2) club and after a false start last night (upset tummy, cramps every 5 minutes, light spotting, REALLY irritable all day)...nothing. Was mentally feeling quite geared up so feeling a bit let down sigh

Pointlesscrap · 29/01/2017 11:32

Yay another moaners thread...I'm 35+3 not as far as the rest but I'm totally done with this pregnancy...I have never experienced pain like this in any of my previous pregnancies!!! It's a concoction of killer spd, sciatica, General back and growing pains, ribs feel like they're bruised and the baby is head butting them oh yes she's breach so the kicks to the groin are a finisher 😩😭

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/02/2017 10:49

39+6........ Sweep yesterday, 2cm dilated. Lost plug today!

Grumpus21 · 01/02/2017 11:17

Good for you nottalotta! Hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Have the contractions started yet?

Bluebellevergreen · 01/02/2017 12:18

So fed up Envy
I absolutely hate being pregnant (the first few weeks were ok...) and I just want my baby safe in my arms.
I really dont get how some people love being pregnant, maybe they had easy pregnancies with no pains, PGP, insomnia and that?
Apart from the result I will say that I was not expecting this! Stupid false expectations that pregnancy is a magical time. Not for everyone!

Come on baby come out!

Pandabear123 · 01/02/2017 12:54

Ooh Nottolotta sounds promising! I am not even having braxton hicks any more! I AM having horrendous sciatic pain that just won't go away (or let me sleep) & a baby who is somersaulting so much that she wakes me up with the pain when I do manage to sleep. Pfft. Another day of sitting my toddler in front of the TV (play doh and books is about as good as i get atm) because I have no energy to get out of the house.... grumble grumble

MiniAlphaBravo · 01/02/2017 12:59

Sounds promising nottalotta. I've got a sweep at 40+1 on Monday, the earliest they would do it. I'm also not even having Braxton's anymore! Was getting them quite regularly at 36 weeks but now nothing! Would love not to be too overdue and especially desperate not to be induced.

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/02/2017 13:50

Not had any Bh or contractions. Didn't have Bh with ds either. Still waiting......

Bluebellevergreen · 03/02/2017 09:43

I can't wait any longer. I was in tears to DH last night because I am desperate for the baby to come out. I dont know what to do
